Avoid this place I went there with a date and despite choosing from a menu with pictures they still got my order wrong and refused to correct it. Terrible service with young, inexperienced seasonal workers.

After a long day spent touring the various cheese and chocolate factories in the area, this is a lovely place to have a meal. Excellent raclette and fondue. The dessert of double cream is even better. Service is friendly.

The place is exceptional and the view magnificent, the waitresses are also adorable. Everything is good and fresh, but the fondue lacked a little taste, on the other hand an incredible texture from start to finish. We still had a great time, a great time! Voir le carte

Gruyères ist ein Touristenort, und an solchen Orten gibt's eben Touristenfallen. Es scheint mir, dass ich mit dem Chalet in genau so eine getappt bin. Zum Abendessen gab's eine Art Käsepasta, die wir für zwei Personen orderten. Der Umfang war mehr als Bescheiden und der Preis grenzte ans absurde. Dreissig Franken für ein bisschen in Teigwaren geschmolzenem Käse, das ist selbst für einen Touristenort wie Gruyéres absurd. Da kommt man an der Zürcher Bahnhofstrasse günstiger davon.

We went to this restaurant after reading the reviews, however I must say that after our visit we were a little disappointed, the location is very good and the fondue was also good (though the menu has no variety), nevertheless we were surprised by the...behavior of the waitresses, we were waiting for minutes but no one came, we called one of them but she did not appeared until another minutes, she seemed annoyed every time we requested something (bread, another drink or the bill)

We've been recommended to visit this particular restaurant after visit the Gruyeres Castle and the cuisine of this restaurant just made the effect of out continued stay in the Castle. We felt as if we are in ancient times and are inhabitants of the Castle....Meals are simply but ancient and very tasty. We've been recommended to take fondue and meringues for desert. We love that and other meals we've ordered. We recommend you to book the restaurant beforehand. We did it on the way to the Castle just asked to book a table for us and that we will come in hours.
