This is a little restaurant close to the central station. Very cozy place, friendly staff, delicious food, when I came there once I knew I need to come back. Had several dinners there and everything was just amazing. Will definitely return to this place.

After a long train journey and a walk around Cologne in the pouring rain, we decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. Very friendly and helpful proprietors, excellent food and beer. All beautifully fresh, super tasty lamb skewers, salad, thyme potatoes and creme brûlée to finish. Made us wish we were in Cologne for more than one night!

This restaurant is around the corner from the Buchholz Downtown hotel and indeed only 50 meters from the Marriott. Above all, if you like excellent strong red wine from southern Europe this you can find readily in the Brucken. Prices are in the middle and the value for money is good.

Wir waren zu unserem Jahrestag hier essen. Schon von außen sah das Lokal sehr einladend aus. Die Fenster sind bei warmen Temperaturen stets geöffnet, so dass man auch bei höheren Temperaturen innen sehr angenehm speisen kann. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns bei der Auswahl des Weines sehr gut beraten. Wir bestellten diverse Vorspeisen von der Karte. Als Hauptgericht bestellte ich ein Argentinisches Rumpsteak und meine Verlobte bestellte die Lammspieße. Das Steak war genau wie gewünscht und komplett frei von Sehnen, vom Geschmack das beste Fleisch was ich je gegessen habe. Meine Verlobte berichtete ähnliches über die Lammspieße. I was in Cologne for business. I made an effort to taste many Kolsches a d in the shadows of my hotel was a fabulous restaurant. Glad I didn't miss it. My travel companion and I got a special. I I got the Iberico pork and the chef brought me some Cretian Olive Oil and Lemon. The pork was already magnificent - herbs and spices plus tender that came more alive with the lemon and olive oil. I asked for a glas rose and the chef brought me the perfect Italian rose - slight sent of bananas and flowers and smooth. Sadly, I am going home tomorrow or I would be back.
