there with a party of two and got good food, not overcrowded during the midday, beer was beautiful and somehow special, not quite cheap;

we were here for a birthday brunch. good service and very extensive buffet for brunch lovers. very full, but happy loud. obviously a popular Sunday magnet. simple.

Ambiente and service is great, the food is ok. Traditional dishes but could be prepared better - fish a bit dry. red cabbage a bit soggy... I know similar places in Munich where they do fabulous food. Voir le carte

Popped in here for a few "samples" afetr a great days walking around Mugglesee area. This Restaurant and bar is comfy in a traditional style, and had godd value food offers on, and although I cant review the food as we didn't eat, the portion sizes coming out of the kitchen were sized for the ravenous, they were huge! They do a good selection of beers (plus other drinks!) and the waitress did a great job of describing the styles and tastes to help us with our choices. All the beers we had got the thumbs up.If you are having a wander around this great wee area and have built up a thirst, this is a not bad place to quench it.

as we discovered this restaurant, we were regularly gassed there. I actually saw many typical as German restaurants, but they didn't even value that 's why I was really surprised here after I finally saw how the typical German restaurant and kitchen should look. it should definitely look like here and taste! finally we found what we were looking for, great German homemade foods, delicious homemade beer (it is also brewery and beautiful wine. I can recommend her carving, knödel with herb and frying pork and goat soup. Since we discovered this restaurant we became regular guest there. I saw actually many "typical like German restaurants" but they did not worth it at all, that's why I was really surprised here after I finally saw how the typical German restaurant and kitchen should look like. It should definitely look like and taste like here! :-) finally we found what we were looking for, great German homemade food, tasty homemade beer (it's also brewery) and nice stuff. I can recommend their schnitzel, dumplings with kraut and roast pork knee and goulash soup. I have actually tried almost everything from their menu and I was never ever disappointed, food always fresh, homemade, very tasty and like at home...

We had planned a day out of the city centre to go and explore different part's of Berlin we would not normally go and decided a trip to LAKE MUGGELSEE,Berlin's largest lake was the ideal destination.We had looked up place's of interest while we were here and discovered this wonderful pub plus the brillant eccentric floating chalet/bar/ restaurant called SPREEARCHE,set in the lake.We made the Sbahn and Tram journey down to here and popped into this most beautiful of pub's with a wonderful outside seating area.We ordered BERLINER BURGERBRAU ,a superb beer that was just so refreshing on this very hot day and took in the old world charm of this great pub.It's a multi roomed pub,the old tap room...
