Refined - Menu

Another lovely lunch at Refined, great food and service. Love to meet the students too

We went for the Deep South evening and it was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant was a lovely setting and the food was great. The staff were very attentive, I would highly recommend a trip here if you can get in!

Just paid our latest visit to Refined for dinner excellent as usual. Amazing food and service. You can not get a better meal for the amazing price of £21 for 3 courses. Looking forward to our next bookings in April May

Another great night spent at Refined restaurant. We attended the Tapas evening. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding . Thank you to everyone for the super service we received that evening. Definitely our favourite place to eat in and around Mansfield!!!

Excellent food and great value. It is nice to be able to support students and help them to build their confidence. Update January 2024. Another great meal and very nice to see that they are opening new private dining pods (heated) outside of the main restaurant. I believe they are for groups of up to 6 people.

Went to the American themed night the restaurant was decorated very well with American flag bunting the music was appropriate for the evening and the choice of food was excellent the staff were all so polite and friendly and our waiter Joe was superb nothing was to much trouble all in all this is the 3rd time I've visited the restaurant and I must say it's one of the best well done all concearned

Retford U3A Dinner and Weavers Wine Event . A large group of us 20]attended this event in june 2023 . The college is to be congratulated on providing us all with a wonderful tasting menu and wine pairing by Weavers Of Nottingham . Service and food were both outstanding in value for money and quality . Jo who co-ordinated the event was on hand throughout . A very big thankyou to all the students involved and wishing you all the best in your future careers in catering and hospitality .

Menu was very limited and not helped by two of the items becoming unavailable. It was also very difficult to read as there was nothing to distinguish between each serving. My fish stater was over cooked. The cauliflower serving between starter and mains was the worst thing I've ever tasted. No seasoning insipid water with a very geasey crouton floating in it. My mains was lovely. But it had taken one and a half hours to make and be served. Pudding. The ginger and rhubarb pudding may as well not had the rhubarb on it as it was tasteless and slimy. I know the students are learning but maybe a tutor just needs to taste and check the menu before signing off on it.

Visited refined for the first time dining in the evening for Italian night. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table where our waiter quickly took our drinks order and left us with a menu to select one from a choice of three for a starter, main and dessert. The tables are nicely spaced and the place decorated subtly to reflect the theme of the evening. The food was outstanding with each course full of flavour and we especially loved the cheesecake with amaretto raisins what a unique and delicious mix We didn’t feel rushed so enjoyed a romantic meal with drinks (I had the cherry bubble mocktail which was spot on) and chatted to the students as they were very attentive but in a relax...
