"We first has Sunday lunch as a group of 15 in September then came back today as a group of 6. First class lunch. The beef is unreal. I love this pub is so quirky and the staff are so friendly. We love loads of vegetables and it was no problem when we ask for more. The vegetables were different on both occasions. My daughters a vegetarian and she wasn't keen on the veg choice so just had the dinner without meat and she loved it too. We rarely go out for Sunday lunch as I make a really good one but now our children are at University we will go more often"

The service was good from our original booking and to go through. Staff the most helpful and beautiful food, will definitely be back, well done guys.

Staff welcoming, attentive and professional. Food was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Ambience was relaxing and comfortable. Definitely would recommend and we will be back.

Excellent pub scrub. Had a fantastic crushed beef brisket sandwich served with a cup of delicious gravy. The grilled hiumi wrap of the woman also excellent, plus beautiful cheesecake. Fantastic

Really friendly bar staff (and well kept beers! Incredible roast dinner we were only sad we didn't have enough room for desert. Staff we incredible and fast service. Really can not fault the place!

Great food! The gentleman who sat us and looked after us was superb, hes only bee there a few months but it was like he owned the place, very professional, great bloke The young girl who serviced us was also superb, a credit to the business. We will definitely be back

Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a while. The stuffing and parsnips where delicious and the meats were cooked perfectly. Completely stuffed with just one course. We took our dogs along and they were made to feel welcome with dog blankets, treats and water bowls available. Definitely going to return when we are back up visiting family.

Stayed at the nearby travel lodge at the weekend...no cooked breakfast available here or at the Mouse next door, so had breakfast here on a recommendation, only a few hundred yards up the road...could not fault it, the food was delicious, plentiful and the lady who served us was so friendly and helpful, good start to our day, highly recommend it ...

we went to lunch on Sunday, 12 May, there. I had called last weekend and was impressed by the menu. my wife had grilled laughs and I decided for the bubbly gay with skalopps. both were well presented and delicious. brought to us by very friendly staff. we didn't want to have pudding, but, oh, my wife was tried by the brombeer and apple crumbs. So I had to try the Scillian lemon cheesecake. both were very good. all in all a great experience. beautiful, not ordering food at the bar, which now seems the norm. well made the red lion. until soon.
