"From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was amazing, with a charming old-world feel. The waitstaff was friendly and the service was exceptional (even my other half, who tends to complain, admitted that he would gladly return after enjoying the experience). When I inquired about dairy-free options for cream tea, the lovely ladies explained that they didn't have a cream alternative but could serve scones with spread and jam instead. We gladly accepted! They also provided us with a variety of other sweet alternatives to choose from (yes, there were more than one option). We were spoiled for choice! My other half also indulged in a traditional cream tea and absolutely loved it. The scones were freshly baked and still warm...pure bliss! We were so impressed that we even asked for a takeout option (which they don't offer during busy months). We highly recommend this place and will definitely be making another visit (or three) the next time we're in the area."

What an absolute treat! I had a savoury cream tea and it was delicious, like a ploughman's but better. The setting is also beautiful, and the staff are also fab. Go here, walk to the church, visit hawker's hut, and relax. It is lovely.

Amazing home made food and excellent service. We tried several types of quiche and they were all brilliant and served with a good amount of salad. Haven't tried the scones, but they looked superb. Would definitely come back when in the area!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Housed in a charming old rectory, the menu caters perfectly to gluten-free diners. The gluten-free cream teas are a delightful treat for those with celiac disease. The service was top-notch and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the lovely patio.

There is a little place of perfection, hidden down a lane, it takes a while to get there but it’s the best decision you’ll ever make! Rectory Farm Tea Rooms is the idyllic Devon tea you have craved since someone suggested a holiday in the West Country. Perfection. Small cream tea for £6. Loved it…..

My family and myself had a wonderful time at Rectory Farm. On a glorious sunny summer's day we sat down to delicious sandwiches and cakes enjoyed in the most beautiful of gardens. The surrounding area contains a very interesting and historic church and graveyard set alongside the winding coastal path from Devon to Cornwall.

we stopped and enjoyed some great sandwiches, cream tea and drinks. it has a beautiful garden that would be great if it didn't rain. eating and drinking all came out in time and the staff was really friendly and helpful. they can't take dogs in, but the garden has a lot of space. the prizes were good and everything was made fresh, including the warm scene for the creamtee. worth a visit!

beautiful tee room in morwenstow. for lunch, because I love her sandwiches that they offer. I had cheddar and chutney in my gluten-free sandwich. with a side salat and my favorite homemade coleslaw and cocks. after that we had a slice of cake. I went with her gluten-free homemade brownie. I was impressed when they had some cakes that were gf. highly recommended if they are a celiac and are looking for a place to eat. I would say that I would book one table in advance, as he is busy at lunchtime.

I took my 8-year-old grandson here for a special treat (and myself too!). The children's menu was limited and the pizza was nothing special. However, I loved the large cream tea; it was more than I could eat. The scone was delicious and the farmhouse salad was good as well. Be prepared to pay £4.50 for a slice of cake. We made a reservation knowing that it gets busy, and we sat at table 1 just inside the door. The quirky decor was enjoyable, with interesting things to look at on every surface and wall. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
