"The atmosphere is fantastic! While I wasn't there with a date, I usually enjoy hanging out at the pub. I do wish they had more open seating. Their beer selection is better than the garden area across the street. However, I would love to see more West Coast IPAs, as there seemed to be quite a few hazy NEIPAs on offer. The staff was friendly, and I really appreciated their partnership with Ray's Pizza, which is excellent!"

This is a fantastic venue for music, offering a great selection of beer and apple wine. If you enjoy live performances, this is definitely the place to be!

Nice place staff were friendly and chatty ,service good , but there dace room has poor air conditioning and poor air flow .. so dancing is not a pleasurable experience

Gionatan Scali Band, brilliant set in intimate venue. Atmospheric pub, cool staff, great beers and ciders, in eclectic Stoke's Croft. Cellar toilets were clean and functional, amidst graffiti display. Great drinks and pizzas in garden bar just across the road. Perfect, great night Voir le carte

Went to see the gürl band play here and it was so amazing! Awesome venue, great vibes atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, and very friendly staff. Also, my boyfriend had a vegan pizza and he loved it. So great to go to gigs at venues like this again with Covid restrictions being lifted!

Great place to watch bands and djs that play this classic Bristol venue. It's a bit more student/hipster than it used to be but it's still good and you can still catch a punk or rock band I there time to time. Decent range of beers but a bit on the expensive side, still worth a trip if these a decent gig on.
