Rare Steakhouse - Greenwich

Terrible prawns cheap tasteles tasted like cardboard. And the steak was so tough it was like leather. Dreadfull.

This restaurant is now permanently closed, and has been for a considerable time. It is still possible to book this restaurant on line, which we did and obviously ruined our evening.

Lovely place, staff are nice and friendly and the food was sublime, the venison loin steak I had was gorgeous and my boyfriend said he really enjoyed his burger too. Would definitely recommend.

We went there Saturday night and had the most amazing food ever. Steaks are thick juicy and tender and large. My partner had fish and seafood and this was awesome so fresh. Staff are very polite and welcoming. Lovely establishment. Will return frequently. It’s a must to just either have a meal or celebration. So impressed.

We went there the other evening and we had a lovely meal. I have eaten a lot of steaks over the years and I couldn’t complain about mine. I don’t really like fries (there were loads of other substitutes) but these were light and fresh and the coleslaw was amazing. We had a lovely bottle of house red which was Malbec I think. There were no other customers in there maybe as a week night but couldn’t fault it. Glad I didn’t see the last two reviews before I went as they could have put me off. I think there’s a cocktail bar upstairs which looked lovely going up the stairs

Left here absolutely shellshocked. Had a wonderful meal and were just enjoying our coffees when the (presumably) owner stormed in and went to the kitchen and began screaming at the chef. It was awful, he was so aggressive, shouting and swearing in the kitchen loud enough for us to hear every single word. This went on for a good 4 minutes. No need for that sort of aggression and language whatsoever. The waitress was very embarrassed and kept apologising to us. We felt so uncomfortable we had to leave our coffees and just pay the bill and go. Such a shocking end to a lovely night. Won’t be back. Voir le carte
