Varied menu of delicious German dishes in an interesting setting. We arrived at the beginning of the dinner hour and were seated right away and served quickly.

It is very convenient if you are staying at the hotel. The food is not the best, but is good. Breakfast is basic, warm food was not warm at all, it was not fork available.

Our party of 12 had dinner at the Rappen and the food and service were perfect. We emailed ahead of the visit for a reservation and our table was perfectly situated and ready when we arrived.

Bei unserem Besuch dieses Lokales, in der Spargelsaison, genossen wir das grosse Spargelbuffet! Grosse Uswahl von Beilagen, etwas hektische Atmosphäre, logisch beinso vielen Gästen. Wein ok, Bedienung nett! Nichts zu bemängeln.

Wir haben hier nicht übernachtet, sondern mit dem Henker von Rothenburg Sylvester gefeiert. Die "Kellerbar" ist urig, nur leider sehr klein. Bei dem Event selbst stand für mehr als 50 Personen nur eine Bedienung bereit, so dass unsere Getränkegläser einen sehr langen Leerstand hatten. Voir le carte

Great food, great price, great service. This restaurant was very popular the evening we ate here. The head waiter (we think) from Croatia, and also a motorcyclist, was particularly attentive and good fun. We were lucky enough to be here as the towns midsummer festival drew to a close and we got to enjoy a lovely firework display.

O restaurante fica ao lado do Hotel Rappen, e é o lugar onde é servido o café da manhã para os hóspedes. Mas também é um restaurante para público externo. Jantamos um buffet de aspargos, com mais de vinte pratos diferentes, todos com aspargos, servidos das mais diferentes formas. Até a sobremesa tinha aspargos. Sensacional! E o preço nada excepcional. Recomendo muito!

It was a couple of hours away from Frankfurt, so we were ready to park the car on the property and take in the quaint town a stone's throw away from the inn. Our room was the largest of our entire trip! And it was a room for four of us--two parents, two adult children--still quite spacious. None of the beds we encountered in Europe were as good as home, but they were workable. The staff downstairs was excellent--friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, too…lots of choices.
