"Food atmosphere was good, however we can’t say they same for pricing service. We got charged £5:90 for a children’s Apple Juice and £6.50 per pint of Kingfisher. The waiter was extremely pushy sales wise, telling us rice and side portions were very small so did we want 2? And he got a bit funny when another couple with our group had the Audacity to share a rice! To top it off they tried adding a 12.5% service charge which we wasn’t prepared to pay so instead we left a 5% tip Instead which again was greeted with an uncomfortable exchange with the waiter when working the bill out, we won’t be rushing back."

We haven’t been to the Raj for ages and I’d forgotten how delicious it is. Delicious curries and fluffy naans. Very good for vegetarians too.

Beautiful meal ruined by a really loud group of men swearing. Would have been nice if staff had asked them to think of others in the restaurant

We have been here a few times now and we started going to the Raj because it was half way between us and some friends. Such a great find that we go more often now even though it is a 45 min drive from us and we have other Indian restaurants closer. Food is great, staff are very nice and it is a comfortable and relaxing environment, also easy to park.
