As a chocolatier, Rabot 1745 was pretty high on my list of places to visit in London.

could not have asked for more, attentive staff, delicious food and comfortable atmosphere!

Right outside the Borough Market, a lovely, chocolatey haven from the cold. _Try the hot chocolate! Everything is a tad expensive for me but so so worth it.

Good coffee. Great range of chocolate and gift ideas. A bit pricey but they look to be of high quality. We were there for post-lunch coffee so didn't try their food but the menu looks scrumptious and the bakery items also very appealing.

When a friend suggested going for hot chocolate on a rainy day, I knew I was in for a treat as she always knows some of the best places for hot drinks. The story behind Rabot 1745 is that this cafe is from the people behind Hotel Chocolat. All of the cocoa beans are sourced from their plantation in St Lucia.

Hotel Chocolate has a restaurant at London Bridge. If you are a chocolate lover like me you need to visit this place. All items on the menu have cacao in them one way or another and the food is great I had the Mac and cheese with cacao nibs. It was delicious. We had some sides of veg as well and again with cacao in one way or another It's not sweet and it's not overpowering. It's a very cleaver way of adding a little bit of chocolate to all the meals The setting is also beautiful. When I first heard Hotel Chocolate had opened a restaurant in London, I thought two things – is this a joke and how could they possibly succeed in such a competitive industry. For that reason I’ve been ever intrigued since the day it opened, but like a lot of other restaurants, simply not got round to visiting them yet. Finally after nearly two years since it opened, I’ve made it to Rabot 1745 and I’m so glad I did, because the food here is certainly not a joke – its actually very serious indeed. While the name Hotel Chocolate has always been in my mind for its delicious praline truffles, I’ll never look at the brand the same again, instead I’ll be craving something entirely...read more
