Hake supreme cooked beautifully with great flavour deserves a particular mention but all dishes really well flavoured and executed. Only 4 starts because I really missed the table service… the food is sensational, it’s just a shame to miss the personal touch of a waiter or waitress. Thank you for a lovely evening"

Just had Sunday lunch at the Queens head in Ockbrook. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was the same. Couldn’t fault anything. Quality of food was really good as well as reasonably priced too.

The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. Price per person: £40–50. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend trying the Cod and Chips.

tonight the queens head visited a meal to celebrate my birthday with my man and 6 year old daughter. we have not been there since the renovation and have to say that we were very impressed. beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and nice eating. it brought back memories when I worked there 20 strange years ago! we will be back

Lovely atmosphere, nice setting and welcoming staff. Interesting menu and food tasted delicious BUT such a shame that our 3 fish pies were only lukewarm ...a little concerning for a reheated seafood dish. They took them back and microwaved them warmer but still not piping hot. Would've been 5 stars had the food been reheated to optimum temperature.
