"Punjab is centrally located just 2 minutes from the Mühlburger Tor tram stop. When you enter the restaurant you feel like in India. The beautiful ambience in Punjab ensures a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. In summer you can sit comfortably outside. The food is freshly prepared and of very high quality, not to compare with the Indian around the corner. It's almost all homemade, like the traditional Indian fresh cheese. A rich selection of Indian specialties, including drinks, makes every friend of the Far Eastern cuisine beat the heart higher. The vegetarian dishes and the Tandoori specialities are highly recommended. Prices are only fair and appropriate for the quality they have achieved. The Punjab is worth a visit for almost every occasion, whether a birthday party, a company party or just a cozy meeting with friends and family. It's a restaurant to feel comfortable."

one of the best Indian food I had in Germany. the personal was friendly and taste was quite authentic from the kullinary land punjab. the interieur was beautiful and I felt like an evening meal in taj mahal.

Have visited the place twice,food is average and bit expensive .We were two people,they gave us a place to sit after the place was vacant but ,after we ordered main course they forced us to order more stating that the seats were vacated for you. I am giving two rating only for their beautiful interior.

a wonderful place to have a beautiful authentic Indian meal, the ambiente is cozy and great, eating is made to perfection and the owners are really friendly. the lens soup is simply perfect, her tandoori gravy is probably the best Indian engraving I have ever had (including my time in dubai). highly recommended! The food here is good, so far the best Indian restaurant I have tried in Karlsruhe. It is not crowded here usually, you can easily find a table for you. The wait time for delivering the food is around 15 minutes. They have variety of Indian food, the spice level is average. The ambience is good and maintained very well. I recommend it.

I think trauma when I think Punjab, thanks to the last three visits, each one being a drain. Nothing that you would normally associate with eating out. The unreasonably long waiting time and arrogant behaviour of the hosts leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Reminders to hurry things up after an hour or more of waiting are met with nasty personal attacks. Never want to go there again. Lacks basic decency and kindness.
