"We have been wanting to visit for ages just never got around to it, but on Wednesday viewed on line again, booked it, went a tad early not disappointed with the evening. Simple review for us, Everything perfect, starters of king prawn just fantastic, the Cajun dip to be one of the tastiest sauces I have ever had. My partners pate was just again fantastic, sadly she wasn't for sharing except for a taster!!! . Both had the fillet steak on a stone that was in a deal with a bottle of wine, upgraded to fillet for us both.. Just a exceedingly nice meal, cooked well to start and left to us to finish off as we choose on the stone, not forgetting the best peppercorn sauce I have ever had!!!! To be honest I could have eaten my way through both starters and mains again. It was that nice.. the bread board was refilled for me that nice! , again the dip was exceptional. Bit of advice though, get a extraction fan fitted to the end room instead of relying on the draughty window. but we will return soon, thank you very much. Not knowing your names, especially the chef/s, I can only thank you all for a very nice meal that we both found faultless."

Having had the mega breakfast here don't order it unless you haven't eaten for days. Not the first time we've eaten here but first time for Breakfast. Definitely one to try.

Enjoyed a lovely Christmas meal with a large group of friends. Service was attentive, food really good and all very reasonably priced. In my opinion, this is the best place to eat in Whitworth. Voir le carte

I went to this restaurant for dinner and tried the hanging kebab, which was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the food was also great. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value. I had a lovely Friday night at this local spot and would definitely recommend it to others.

I visited the restaurant with three friends. Two of us tried the Kebab Friday deal, which was excellent value for money with generous portions. My other friend and I opted for the fillet steak, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Visited for the first time last night with 3 other people. Two of us had the steak on the lava stone and without exception this is the best steak I have had in a long time. The other couple also loved their food. From walking through the door to a friendly welcome the service was exceptional. Will definitely be our go to place in the future. Thanks for a lovely evening. Hello Thought we would give the promenade a second chance after a bad steak night !!! Presentation was good,and service was good, but the steak was NOT good. I ordered ribeye (medium) it came rare(infact blue) and very tuff and full of sinues. I did tell staff,they offered to cook it again, but it was too late the moment had gone, and my wife had finished her meal. Then tried charging us £12 over the original price !!! Sorry but I won't be returning. Very disappointed. Wayne Morris

Sixteen members of the Scrabble Club had a wonderful Christmas lunch at the Promenade today. The food was delicious and of great quality, with everyone enjoying the variety on the menu. The prices were also very reasonable, with two courses for £13.95 and three courses for £15.95, making it exceptional value for such a high-quality Christmas meal.
