"Following a google search as Toby could not accomodate us.... we found this little gem We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Sarah, apparently a very new waitress of around a month. Nothing was too much trouble, her care and attention was second to none. It wasnt just for us, it was everyone we witnessed her serving. Food, not so great Im afraid, as much as I wanted it to be perfect... we had mushroom suet pudding, this should be soft like a pillow, but this one was a bit dry. Mushrooms lovely to start with bit tad on slimmy side, needs another vegetable in the pudding to compliment the mushrooms. Mash and gravy lovely, veg on side could do with slight more cooking as hard. Apple pie and custard, sorry on this occasion pastry on pie undercooked, cooking apples inside tasted very sour, couldnt eat. Bill for two people with drinks £52.75. Will return as staff are amazing. The steaks and burgers look good to try next time. Parking: Parking across road to the side. Still a bit of a walk from the one disabled parking bay seen."

I had a lovely Christmas meal! The price per person was between £20 and £30. The food was excellent, rated 5 out of 5, the service was also outstanding, earning a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was fantastic, another 5 out of 5.

I had a lovely, relaxed meal on Father's Day, and the staff were excellent. The pub's new look is much more welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed rotisserie chicken, which was the best I've had in a long time, as well as steak bacon burgers accompanied by sweet potato and regular fries, along with some coleslaw. For dessert, we tried a waffle cone filled with 99 ice cream, along with some delicious cake and a refreshing lemon-lime tart. Everything was fantastic! I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu!
