Most of us from the USA, think Paella is a dish full of miscellaneous pieces of seafood, right? Not here, it's as little seafood as possible and lots of rice. Ugh!

Beautiful experience Beautiful fresh meat. Traditional Catalunia cousin of waiters could not speak English, but that was okay, we understood each other. They cook with fireplace 60 years ago when they open the restaurant When I go back? Yes, next year!

Found this little tapas bar restaurant by chance after visiting the Parc Guell, took a chance as all the places around looked tourist traps with pictures of food outside and mostly of chips!. We ate in the small back room the restaurant, had really lovely local food mostly fish, and a great glass of wine. There is an English menu and the waiter spoke a little English too. Felt authentic.A great 2 course lunch with wine and water 55 Euros.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The charcoal kitchen you see when you go into the room behind it works wonders with the high-quality products they have. The hake is sensational, the garlic shrimps are dreamy, the seafood mussels are delicious, Fideua, Därme, cod, the meat is exactly right, fricandó and I stop counting because my mouth is watering. And the homemade desserts are as always and should be dreamed. You feel good when you know you're going to eat again.

We were looking for something to eat on the way to Parc guell. The outside wasn't that promising but inside looked nice and we went into the back where there was a nice restaurant area. The front area is a bar with tapas and sandwiches. We had some plates of typical tapas dishes (but you can't do tapas size dishes in the restaurant area) and we thought it was pretty good. Price was about 55 euros for 4 of us. Later walked up to the park and were pretty happy with our choice of restaurant when we saw what else was on offer.

We are pretty sure this place has changed hands when we ate here after a visit to Park Guell it was a cafe serving snacks; we were enticed by the TWO EURO pizza sign, and glad of somewhere to sit. Afterwards we ordered churros and chocolate and when the bill came were a bit staggered by how cheap it was. Unfortunately we didn't have the right change to leave a tip to express our gratitude that somewhere in such a touristy area provides good food for such a reasonable price particularly given a bad experience the day before.

We’ve found this restaurant by accident. The menu outside looked good we saw few people who spoke Spanish inside so we decided to went in. The waiter was quite nice even tho when we sat he told us to move to another table, just in case more people would come in (we sat at 6 persons per table at the beginning). After we ordered I looked and read the recommendations. I was scared from there on. Even tho I read bad things, our food was good, hot and quite delicious. Just as a regular restaurant food. BUT it is true that I saw them putting tapas into microwave. We might be just lucky. It was good but nothing I would recommended to my closes ones.

What to say about the white horse after more than 40 years? It is still a benchmark for raw materials for me. A grilled lake bass tail (if they have it has no competition throughout Barcelona.
