"We went to the restaurant for food. Food was decent but server was very rude. When we asked for a recommendation on dessert the guy had the audacity to say “ again same question. Why do people from your country ask the same question. If you read the menu maybe you will learn a little more from there. “ He basically judged us on our country which was racist and then when asked if he can take a picture he said “ Sorry im not a photographer. You can take a picture at that spot but im not a photographer. I have work to do “ Wonder what made him give this customer service in such a wonderful country where people are known to be very nice and courteous. We talked to the manager i think her name was Magda and explained the whole situation. She apologized . Very disappointed with the experience. 3 star for food and -1 for the service . Service: 1"

Wir waren zwei Mal in diesem Restaurant.Draussen auf dem Bänken mit Sonnenschirm und Sonne macht es richtig Spass was zu essen oder zu trinken. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Macht auch mal einen Scherz und lächelt immer. Gerne wieder

Historic restaurant since 1845, I always go here when I'm in Gstaad. Swiss chalet atmosphere, impeccable service. French, German or English spoken fluently by all waiters and waitresses. Wise prices but in line with Gstaad. Proper cuisine, it's not gastronomy. A la carte vegetarian dishes. I really like this place out of time.

Zimmer kann ich nicht bewerten, da ich im Hotel nicht übernachtet habe. Von mir ein grosses Bravo hier ist der Gast willkommen, an Freundlichkeit wird nicht gespart, wie auch auf der Rösti an Käse nicht. Vom Service über Qualität, Präsentation beim Essen fehlt hier überhaupt nichts. Ich bin nicht das erste mal hier und auch nicht dass letzte Mal. Gäbe es Sterne, würde ich die vergeben.
