I have been going to this resturant for years and it is my favourite Italians in Newcastle. The food is superb, the waiters are friendly and helpful and it's never too quiet.

Great food, lovely house wine, impeccable service, nice atmosphere, unique decor and the babble of conversation..... Oh yes, and great value for money! I visit here every month and would recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal out.

I have been going here for years now and always found the food, prices and service second to none.It has a very informal atmosphere, which I love, and I would recommend this resturant to anyone to try. The building is Grade II listed and it's worth a visit just for the decoration.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely food. Had the 3 course festive meal. Smoked salmon starter, sirloin steak in Madiera sauce and panetone pudding with a glass of prosecco on the side. Everything was delicious apart from the steak which was too thick and slightly tough. Apart from this, it was lovely. Great service too. Voir le carte

I tried their for two courses lunch menu. Prices as low as that usually ain't a good sign.Ordered photo skins followed by an Inferno pizza. Skins where ok, but the pizza was shocking, small, cheap cheese, a few pieces of pepperoni, and horrendous amounts of garlic, salt and oil that coated my mouth and throat. No fresh ingredients.

I am so often here that I have lost the count now and it was always great! I always get the same pasta every time as it is so delicious (the francesca pasta will cook the pasta they want in every form. Whenever I dared something else, even though I never had anything from here I didn't like! service is always very friendly and very good value for money. I will come back, as they are still disappointed!

we're here a few times, we love coming here. the muddle starter is large enough to divide between 2-3 people, and both the red and white creamy sauces are very tasty, although naked in the head the red sauce can be quite sharp. we had the sirloin steaks, one with diane sauce and the other with a red, injuring sauce. they were cooked exactly as we asked them (medium, medium to rare) and they were perfect. the inglese pizza is delicious, it is so tasteful and loves the thin crust and the egg above! as soon as the ice was roasted, but preferably the ice would be cooked best on the pizza. the salmon is a joy every time! would recommend a glass of the Italian red wine barbera d’asti to go with th...
