"This little café was absolutely beautiful, amazing atmosphere and decoration, wonderful customer service and food to die for. The salad I had was so flavourful and the portion size was perfect, the milkshake was lovely and it all came to about £9. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough! "Eating was easy in order, nothing special, some meal times only lukewarm 2 meal times came wrong at the end, but the biggest farewell was the service, it was terrible. it seemed to be 3 employees, but we waited for the old to finally order. to overthrow someone. Unfortunately this has set the ton for the entire meal, we had to go to search for service every time we needed something. the personal was so unstoppable and could not have been cared for less. it was a very bad culinary experience that we are not going to be back."

"Had a fantastic meal last night with my folks and other half. They all got the fillet steak which they said was the best steak theyve ever had, and I was so pleasantly surprised with a vegan menu (which included dessert! . We mentioned it was a birthday and the staff came out with a lovely birthday brownie for my dad. The staff were so lovely and professional, and the music at the end of the night (Friday was fantastic. Thanks all!"

"Great Christmas dinner, turkey and especially ham were beautiful and of very good quality. The stewed beef (daube) was class also. We had salted chilli chicken and garlic mushrooms to start which were lovely. The thatch is very homely inside and has a nice atmosphere. The reason I’d give it 4 and not a 5 is the cocktails were just OK (espresso martini and bramble) and the service wasn’t great at all. Don’t get me wrong lots of young people walking around and asking you if you need anything, but I think it might be better if they assigned your waiter/waitress to your table for the duration of the meal. We ordered a glass of wine each after our dinner and it didn’t come for almost 30 mins. We were then approached and asked if we wanted anything else, so we ordered an Irish coffee and calypso coffee. Next think all 4 drinks arrived at the same time, wine and coffee. It seems like the staff have no idea of what’s going on at various tables, asking if you want a drink after you’ve just ordered one, or asking if you want to order dinner when it has been ordered etc. I don’t think they’re the friendliest staff either but they are quite young. Food was great but service and drinks left wanting."
