"We sat outside and enjoyed delicious hot rolls at this restaurant. The menu had a good selection to choose from. However, parking was a bit of a challenge as the car park was full and the extension field was too wet. The roads were also crowded with parked cars. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. The food was rated 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. It was difficult to find parking, but there were options for free parking in a lot or on the street."

"I had a wonderful family lunch at this charming pub, situated in a beautiful location. The Sunday roast was delightful, and the lamb breast was particularly enjoyable. The service was excellent as well. Thank you!"

"We were in the area for the Easter Weekend and had heard of the Swan so decided to visit. It has an idyllic location on the Thames with a large terrace (nice for the summer months). The inside lives up to its 17th heritage with traditional oak beams and three open fires to keep you warm and cosy. We ate there on the Saturday night and Sunday lunch. Both meals very nice, especially the Sunday roast, cooked to perfection and the gravy was delicious. Service very good and friendly staff. It has a nice bar area with a good ale selection. If you mange to get a table overlooking the river, it adds to the whole dining experience, as we did. Highly recommended."

"as we expected the previous review, we would like to clarify the events that occurred. we noticed them first when they seemed a little sharp and were rubbed over the poor, we immediately reacted with the first aid and give them a gips. the next interaction we had was when we temporarily locked the pup to clean the toilets and bar, they decided to tear the sign of the door and knock the door to win our attention. when they asked what the problem was, they have been going to ran and rave about the intention to use the toilet when the manager confronts them about their rudeness and hit a change in their ton and stop them defocusing the workers. at this point, a young lady politely asked to come to the pub to use the laminis who had now been cleaned, and was happy to get in. after this fact they have continued to abuse the manager even further when he politely asked if they want to use the toilet they continue to enter the urinal and urinal, but the footprints sucked their shoes. much luck drying out your shoes."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RUDE STAFF AND TERRIBLE FOOD!! The reviews are lies. I went into the red lion as I had seen so many amazing reviews about how fantastic the food and service was. I am under the influence that those reviews could only have been written by the owners friends and family as this was absolutely not the case last night. My friend and I arrived at 6:45pm, we ordered our food and drinks at the same time at 7:15pm this was the first time the waitress had come over to us so we took the opportunity to order everything then. Our food did not arrive at our table until 8:05pm. But we were the lucky ones, as there were two other tables with families on who had been there before we had even arrived and they were STILL waiting for their food. Unfortunately after the long wait the food was absolutely disgusting! I ordered a burger and chips. My burger was stone cold and burnt (but the plate was hot) which suggests it’s been sat under a hot lamp and my chip were rock solid. My friend had the chicken breast which was also cold, and the vegetables were also rock hard. One of the ladies from one of the two families politely went over to ask the staff where their food was as my friend and I came in before them and why was it that they were still waiting? The staff launched across the bar and started verbally abusing this poor lady shouting “it’s not our fault we only have one chef! What do you want me to do?!? I’ll take it off your bill if you’re that bothered”. The lady walked back to her table and you could see the upset in her face as she just politely asked a question. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff and the food was vile. Would not even feed my dog it."
