Gorgeous place to sit in the sun, enjoy good food and wine. It’s a decent menu, but we opted for the prawns in garlic oil and a tuna salad. All excellent, washed down by a bottle of Vina Sol at a decent price.

all very well butoofalta personal,two waiters for so many people is not normal, do what they can but will be exhausted I don't think they can stop or drink water and still try to be in a good mood (thank you), it's a pity, the place is great

we had lunch almost always in this small place in front of the sea for a week, between an immersion and the other! has become one of our favorite places, for the location but especially for the super fish dishes just fished. those who commented negatively the staff probably stopped at the first appearance, because all the waiters were fantastic and very nice with us as soon as we entered in confidence. We're sorry to leave!

We just loved this casual dining served by 2 amazing waiters. Emilio and Jose were just fantastic which made our experience fabulous. Fish was divine variety of fish was sublime. The ladies had prawns and mushrooms the vest ever. We had been to expensive restaurant in vicinity but this experience was far superior. So much so we ate here 3 times for dinner and couple of . I times for lunch. Wonderful atmosphere and great irish coffeexx. Thank you for the best fun and service

I visited this bar with my brother a surprising number of times during our two week holiday. Our first visit we just had a beer each (my brother two) but the second or third time we tried some food. My brother had a pizza and I had the Spanish omelette. Both were very nice. Next visit I had the pizza which again was great with a lovely thin and crispy base. My brother just had a couple of beers. Another visit we both tried the spaghetti bolognese. Don 't say 'Spag Bol ' like my brother did as the waiter won 't understand! Again, very nice and just the right amount. Absolute diamond of a find! All the gentlemen that worked there were welcoming and made the experience all the better. Rustic place with unbelievable views and we were delighted that we stumbled across it. The octopus was the best I ever tasted and the Advocado and prawns were sensational. The portions are large so we couldn’t eat more sadly and the dishes we had were from the starter menu. We were only in lanzerote for 3 days or we would have returned. If you’re looking for an authentic experience then you would not be disappointed. They had a nice wine selection too. Had dinner in Bar Playa on Sunday night (24/3/24) Having visited Bar Playa many times years ago and had some pretty average food, I was recommended dinner there and wasn't disappointed. From the moment I stepped in the restaurant, I could tell it was going to be a different experience than I'd previously had years before. Wonderful waiters taking our order, very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu itself is full of wonderful seafood dishes. A seafood lovers paradise. Truly awful experience here tonight. I arrived at 414pm with my daughter. We deliberately arrived early because I’m aware they stop serving at 5pm. My daughter has complex health needs so I need to be careful about our meal times. We waited patiently while the waiter served two tables right beside us despite those customers having arrived after us. When the waiter came to take our order at 433pm he shouted at me that the kitchens were closed. I pointed out that the two tables right beside us had infact sat down after us and we’d been waiting 15 minutes. They hadn’t even received their meals. Only their cutlery.
