Food was delishious but would have been better off with takeaway to avoid being ignored most of the night.

It is a very small but the food is really good. I took the pizza but the food that rest of the people was eating looked delicious!! Highly recommended

My husband and I stopped here while in Salerno for our honeymoon. The food was absolutely delicious. There's a large selection of food and pizza. My favorite was the fried zucchini. Riccardo was the nicest and very friendly. The service was excellent. They were all very attentive and helpful. I would come back here any day!!!

I have been there 1 time, in my last night in Salerno. The owner served us with only fresh food! He presented us what he had for the day, especially for fish dishes, and we decided after this. The waiter was very nice, helping us with all the information we needed. Very familiar atmosphere, very nice people around. We ate fresh mussels with lemon, something very delicious, normally quite expensive, we payed around 10 euros for 1 plate!!! Cheap and Delicious! 10+ for this place!

Second time in Salerno and even more satisfied from the delicious dishes! What I like the most is that the restaurant is a family business and they therefore nurture the Italian culture, all the dishes contain the most fresh products, particularly important when it comes to seafood. I never thought that Pasta with claims and garbanzo bean cream could be so delicious! I also tried the pizza on my first trip to Salerno, just exquisite. Owner and co-workers very polite. Highly recommended!

I visited Pizzeria Trattoria da Riccardo with family and friends in June. We were a fairly large group of 12. The owner himself, Riccardo, came out to personally great us and you could tell he was passionate about his craft. The staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating, especially for those in the group who didn't speak Italian. We started with a few apps that were nothing short of AMAZING! I highly recommend the eggplant meatballs. To die for! My husband who doesn't like eggplant fell in love with them. His unique artisan pizzas were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Cozy and trendy spot for amazing food ! The house wines and blonde ale were delicious for our meal. The apps were a perfect portion for friends and family to share ! The eggplant croquettes were my favorite ! The pizzas we had were a mix of both sweet and spicy and left us asking for more! The top it all off the owner kindly offered us a taste of lemoncello on the house to complete our meal. My family and friends got this recommendation from a local and it was the best pizza and apps we had! It's off the beaten path but well worth the drive/walk. We ordered the Blonde Ale that they get from a local brewery that tasted light on weight but full of taste. We also ordered the house white and red wine that perfected the meal. We started off with croquette balls that were delicious. We then got the polpetti di melezana that tasted like heaven! Very different from anything we have ever tried!
