Pizzeria San Remo - Menu

Quality food, very large portions, beautifully cooked and quick service. The waiters are great...good humour and very polite, went twice in days cos we loved it.

The staff is always friendly, the food always delicious and a good value! They also supply a menu in English for those who do not speak German! They also take credit cards.

I am never disappointed by Pizzeria San Remo, delicious food, fast attentive service. And for those who don't speak German a menu in English! I make a point of stopping for dinner during my yearly visits to Fulda and everytime the food is fantastic!

I always visit Pizzeria San Remo when I am in the Fulda area. Their food is excellent, the decor and atmosphere is wonderful, but it is the service that keeps us going back year after year! They do a wonderful job and make you feel...comfortable even if you do not speak their language!

As usual always checking the toilets before sitting down, they are very clean . The service is above the other restaurants in fulda always friendly and efficient. The portions are reasonable and the meals are the real Italian taste. Like most other restaurants you have...a choice of menus in German or English shame though not in Italian as we had Italian guest with us Will visit again

Although the service may be slow, the food is quick to disappoint. Stay away from the minestrone unless you enjoy clear hot water with three pieces of formerly frozen lasagne, some pale celery and chunks of red pepper. This soup tasted like its primary ingredient,...namely water. On the other hand, I couldn't get over the pasta over cooked and over priced. A poor job all around. You can tell that the San Remo caters to tourists, whom they can serve scraps and never have to worry about seeing again.

I was passing through Fulda and decided to have lunch at San Remo. The waiter barely said hello when I was given the menu. I chose a bruschetta pomodoro and a spaghetti carbonara. I have rarely seen a sloppier bruschetta, also with barely any basil....The spaghetti was overcooked, with no egg yolk on top and generally uninteresting. It tasted mostly cream. When the waiter asked if I was pleased with the food I started saying Noo.. but he was gone before I could continue. Well, in the end I ate it all but I would never return or recommend anyone a visit to San Remo in Fulda.

My family ate here twice. We just came back from a trip to Fulda. This was a couple of weeks ago. We randomly picked this restaurant one night. And after our first visit here, we couldn't resist a second visit back before our...vacation ended. We ate outside on the first visit and inside on the second. Though, as you will see, most people prefer to eat outside during the busy summer season. You will hardly ever see people eat inside any restaurant.... unless they can't get a seat outside. lol It's on Marktstrasse, in a popular area for restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. Prices were reasonable for Fulda. We were visiting Fulda and at felt a little bit hungry. We all know those tourist hotspot food locations where food is below average and everything's a bit far from the cheap side. If you turn the next corner it get's better and price-performance...ist partly better. Not in this particular case: awesome location in the middle of the historic district. nice outdoor seating, with comfortable chairs delicious food, huge menu (housemade pasta) terrific price-performance We had bruschetta spinaci as starter, a salad San Remo gnocchi spinachi gorgonzola and tortellini ala panna and everything exceeded our expectations.
