"probably the best dinner in argegno, italien. husband and I shared a plate of steak tart as an appetizer. main course: husband had top sirloin with beer of sauted mushrooms, thin slices of sweet carrots and roasted baby carrots. I had the grilled otopus. we have divided a bowl salad. we ate inside because it was a bit cool outside. decor in the room was beautiful and service was excellent. no wonder that this restaurant has received great reviews on tripadvisor."

"Overall nice but service was very slow. This is however mainly the case around the Lake so shouldn’t put you off. Pizza here was superb. The filet was enormous for the price and very tasty. We easily could have shared one between us. Caprese salad was incredible. The beautiful setting is “picture perfect Italy” and cannot be faulted. They also had delicious bread rolls. We found the prices here a little more than the other restaurants in Argegno but worth it."

"Food was overpriced. Had perch and risotto- very small perch filets and rather fishy tasting. Didn’t taste fresh. Risotto was average. Tagliatelle was cold when it came. Hoped to have an authentic Italian meal but were disappointed. Asked for more bread but that never came. Wouldn’t recommend this place."

"Carinissimo ristorante situato accanto alla riva sinistra del torrente di Argegno, che si butta nel lago di Como. I due ragazzi che gestiscono il ristorante sono gentili e premurosi. Il menu comprende diversi piatti con pesce di lago e alcuni piatti tipici piemontesi. Nel menu troverete anche una selezione di salumi vari, sopratutto la bresaola della Valtellina, ottima da condire con il loro olio pugliese al limone. Il tiramisù è eccezionale! Sono disponibili tavoli all'esterno, sulla riva del fiume, e tavoli all'interno. Il servizio è veloce e preciso. Prezzi nella norma. La saletta in pietra all'interno è un pò buia, ed è più adatta al periodo invernale."

"Era tempo che volevamo provare questo ristorante e d è stato in linea come le nostre aspettative, avendo conosciuto Gianni Contrerio anni prima nel suo locale lungo lago. Abbiamo ritrovata la qualità dei prodotti e della cucina semplice e saporita. La cortesia dell’accoglienza e la sincera voglia di tutti di volerci passare un pranzo gradevole sono di casa. Il locale si presenta come una semplice, pulita trattoria ma il menu sorprende per la raffinatezza delle proposte. L’entrecôte eccellente cotta giusta al sangue come piace a me. Il pesce freschissimo. Torneremo molto volentieri. Vegetarian options: Verdura grigliata ottima. I gnocchi brutti e buoni ai funghi porcini: una delizia Parking: A 25 metri del locale, piccolo parcheggio per una decina di veicoli"
