"Finding a decent pizza in Italy is not such an easy task as one could think. Having in mind that we are talking about touristic area of course. During our staying in Tuscany we tried it in one restaurant and two pizzerias, one of them being this one. To be honest, trip advisor let us to believe this is the place for pizza. Sure, the marketing is properly done, markings on great ingredients all over the place, reviews are splendid, but the thruth is that pizza is just, well, dissapointing. We had 3 different pizzas and scacciata. The crust is so thin, few milimeters thin, that is ridicilous. We are talking tortila thin almost. And scacciata was just that same crust without toppings. That is offensive to scacciata. Pizaa was overall to dry, mozzarela was low quality, and the one with salsicia had in total 5 micro balls of meat from salsicia. Plus, it is a selfservice joint. Bottom line, not my choice again. But if you are crazy for paper thin crunchy pizzas, give it a try."

Pizza was nothing like an italian pizza. Very little ingredients. The tomatosauce and cheese were also almost not even there, and the crust was dry and burnt

Locale carino e moderno, pizza stratosferica!

Siamo stati a cena in coppia. Dissalate e messe sott’olio!, carciofi? mondati, puliti, cucinati!

"Living close by we have heard about La Rana, now we tried it. Very nice little place, very friendly and helpfull waiters, particularly the young female waiter who served us and who should not be blamed for anything. She was only doing what her superior told her to do. The food was fine, but not particularly interesting we had 2 pasta and 2 main courses the pizza looked very good . It was quite full they did not respect the distance of 1 meter between tables, but had obviously set up more to be able to take in more guests than they ought to , so the waiting time was understandable, even though there were 4 waiters for about 60 seats. But..... we had reserved a table for nine o clock they close at ten thirty ,having to wait some minutes ok, fine and had our pasta about 9.20 ok, fine but at 9.30 they started to take away seats in tables around us wihtout due respect to the remaining guests they were simply closing one hour earlier than they said they would. A bit disturbing, but ok, fine. We both work in the restaurant industry and can understand that one tries to anticipate. It meant though that we had to wait for the main course while they did their duties. 3 waiters then left leaving the nice girl alone to finish, she brought our plates and, obviously as told started the final sanification of the premisses, meaning that she went around our table and those of the other remaing guests with a spray bottle of alcohol to disinfect within five minutes all our food tasted of disinfection spray uneatable. We left it, asked for the bill still before closing time and went to tell the owner WHY we had left it, he did not even excuse for the incident, but put on an arrogant face, saying that those are the rules He made us pay the full bill and saluted us saying that he hoped never to see us again !!! He definetely will not !!!"
