"We had been recommended this place (amongst others) by the owner of the apartment we were renting locally. The setting is beautiful and relaxed. You eat outside on a terrace (covered or open completely to the elements) amongst the olive trees. Our teenage kids wandered...off to explore after ordering and were found chilling in a hammock slung between the trees. There are fairy lights and lots of lanterns everywhere that add to the magical atmosphere of the place. Don't go though if you get irritated by kids eating in restaurants. There were many Italian families eating here with their young kids and lots of children running around amongst the trees. But, whereas anywhere else I might find this annoying, in this setting, it was charming! Our waitress could not speak a word of English but was absolutely delightful patient and attentive. The food was of a very good standard. All local, traditional dishes, but not a huge choice for vegetarians. Wine was excellent too. This is not a cheap night out. We paid over 200 Euros for four, although we all had three courses plus wine. But it was well worth it for a special night and is considered by the whole family as one of the highlights of our Tuscany holiday."

"This restaurant is at the top of the village. We walked past on the way down through the scenic village and then headed back as the view was so stunning! As we have small kids we were not looking for 3 or 4 courses the kids shared an adults pasta portion which was very nice. The mixed grill was excellent! Very Tuscan. A good selection of wine and decent service made it an enjoyable holiday experience. Give it a go!"
