"Als wir auf der Suche waren nach einem passenden Lokal für den Abend, waren wir erst skeptisch- haben dann jedoch trotzdem entschieden anzurufen und einen Tisch zu reservieren. Perfekte Entscheidung!!! Wir werden sehr freundlich begrüßt und es wurden uns gleich die Jacken abgenommen & der reservierte Tisch gezeigt. Toll, dass man die Vorspeisen als Tapas bestellen kann, so kann man sich durchkosten und man muss sich nicht entscheiden :-) Hauptspeise (Ochsenwangerl u. Lachsforelle) & Wein war auch super lecker! Die Kellnerin informiert gleich, dass das Wangerl heute vom Kalb und nicht vom Ochs kommt, war aber deshalb nicht weniger lecker!!! Als Abschluss noch ein leichtes Sorbet perfekt mit weihnachtlichen Geschmack (Apfel- Zimt, Zwetschke-Portwein) Jederzeit gerne wieder!!! Und der Preis war für unser doch sehr umfangreiches Menü + Wein u.Getränke 92€"

"I had a very good dinner in the church. the service was very good, the waitresses were open and they knew what vegan means. I ate roasted potato with a sweet and a mixed salad. it was labeled vegan. they also offer typical vegetarian Austrian dishes. due to the high season they also had a vegan ice cream (toffee,) which was a great surprise. in comparison to other restaurants in strobl it was also quite cheap. we will visit this restaurant again when we travel to strobl."

"Der Laden ist insgesamt gemütlich, Burger und Nachtisch waren ordentliche Portionen und sehr lecker für einen vernünftigen Preis. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und was ich besonders ansprechend fand und was mich auch zum etwas länger verweilen eingeladen hat: es gibt dort eine kleine Auswahl an Craft Bieren (sogar regionale)!Einzig die Musik hätte vielleicht ein bisschen leiser sein können, aber da wir recht früh kamen und daher kaum andere Gäste da waren, konnte man sich trotzdem wunderbar unterhalten.Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Strobl sind, werden wir sicher wieder hierher kommen."

"Another 2 weeks holiday enjoyed by my wife and me at this guest hotel in St Wolfgang. This was again obvious that they were collected from Salzburg Airport to return to the airport on departure. We once again occupied the Black Suite with excellent, incomparable views, clean and excellent facilities. During our flight to Salzburg it came to me that I had not informed the hotel that I had been on a special diet (in June for a week in the hospital) No problem on arrival sorted no problems. What can I say about the staff? Absolutely first class, feasible, informative, political and smile!! Mr. Roland Ballner has led the whole team to an excellent standard and he himself is associated with a great disposition with a great sense of humor and courtesy! My wife and I have another great time and hope to pay another visit. Like I said in my title. It cannot be better '"

"We arrived at 3pm for a late lunch, a family of 5 people. The place was busy but not fully packed. Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour from the moment we ordered until our dishes were served. The location is wonderful with great views of the lake, and the food, once arrived, was quite good. However, because it took so long to serve our food we felt that our day is being wasted and lost some of our appetite - the late lunch became an extremely late lunch. The food arrived late with no apology, the waiter was apathetic. He should have warned us in advance that one dish we ordered, the lamb chops, would take ages to prepare and should not have delayed all the dishes of the rest of us in order to serve them concurrently, without asking us about it - had we known, we would have ordered something else or asked to bring in the dishes as they are ready to avoid our children getting hungry and impatient. Overall, bad service spoiled our experience, and we would not want to come here again. We cannot recommend this place to others."
