"Today, we visited Pizza Hut for lunch. We were very hungry and just wanted something good to eat without waiting too long. However, our experience was disappointing. We had to wait 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us and seated us, even though there was no line. Then, we waited another half hour before a staff member took our order, which only happened because we gestured to them. Thankfully, we chose the buffet so we could serve ourselves and not rely on the unattentive waiters. Despite understanding that it was a busy time, some customers may not have been as patient as we were. In the future, we will look for other dining options in Northampton before considering Pizza Hut again. Thank you for reading and I hope this review is helpful."

Can't complain, good deals/offers on, so good value for money. Tasty food and good service. Happy days

The salad bar is filthy, mess everywhere, the food wasn't great either. One member of staff on a busy Saturday midday. Manic and unfriendly.

This Pizza Hut has started to lose its appeal. The vegetarian pizza was bland and not very tasty. However, the cookie dough with ice cream was delicious. The restaurant is always clean, with a fully stocked salad bar, and the staff is always polite and professional. The food is the main area that needs improvement.

We have been using this restaurant for the last 10 years and we used to have a great time. Our last two visits were awful however. The first one , in December, the food was under cooked and the pizza dough was clearly raw and moist. The service was very rushed , it looked like their only objective was to get us out of the door.the salad bar was half empty.

My kids picked this restaurant for dinner. I haven't dined at a Pizza Hut in years, as I'm not a huge fan of pizza. The kids knew the menu well and quickly decided on their main course, dessert, and drink. I opted for lasagna with garlic bread and a beer. To my surprise, I really enjoyed my meal, the restaurant, the service, the staff, and the overall experience, and would definitely come back again.

The food is average, better as a takeaway as it’s all very greasy and obviously not fresh. The food came out in good time and the prices are reasonable. Our waitress however put a mood on our night. Didn’t see her smile once and often was looking around to get her attention just to see her having a chat with other staff members. Definitely didn’t create a friendly atmosphere and acted as though we were an annoyance to her. Not impressed.

On a weekday lunchtime they were not overly busy. Two wait staff on as I could tell. Between 1:20 2pm and they barely restocked the pizza or pasta. The choice of pizza was small and the time we were there, the hot pasta choices were not filled. There were a few tubes left but barely any sauce. I visited the buffet on numerous occasions (as I was collecting food for grandchildren and then myself) and this situation didn't change. My daughter went up last and still it had remained unfilled.

Visited for the unlimited lunchtime buffet. Seated straight away and offers explained. Salad bar good, but bowls were small whereas they used to be quite generous. On our first trip to get pizza there wasn't much of a selection as had not been replaced. Going back a little later there was a better selection as more had been put out. In general we had a good experience and enjoyed loads of pizza!! I felt it lacked atmosphere/music, if it hadn't been such a good deal probably would't be going back but we will as offered good value.

"I wondered why this restaurant described itself on the board outside as ‘fusion’, why there were so many Korean dishes on the menu and why the serving staff have heard of Asahi beer but haven’t heard of The Asahi Shimbun, a Japanese daily newspaper that is at least 50 years old. The answer is that the Akasaka website isn’t being completely honest when it describes their Northampton branch as a Japanese restaurant. They aren’t really Japanese, although some of their menu items are clearly Japanese. Don’t let that put you off, however, as they are serving excellent food and we enjoyed our meal there very much. It cost us about £70 (inc. 10% tip) for our meal for two people including a 175ml glass of Sauvignon Blanc for my lovely wife and two 330ml bottles of Asahi Dry for me. The sushi was excellent, the edamame beans were great but we didn’t feel that the Dolsot Bibimbap (a Korean dish with loads of rice, some shredded vegetables, prawns and a fried egg on top) offered very good value for money at just under sixteen pounds. We would recommend Akasaka in Northampton and would certainly go there again, but if we want a genuinely Japanese meal, prepared and served by Japanese staff, then we will be sticking to Ginza Restaurant on Wellingborough Road in Northampton. Don’t like the way that the male members of staff at Sakura on Bridge Street speak to their female colleagues, very disrespectful, so we avoid that Japanese restaurant nowadays. Great to have a choice of three Japanese restaurants in Northampton post-pandemic, and our favourite of the three is Ginza."
