Pizza Express - Carte

They did a fantastic job handling a group of 16 people effortlessly. They were able to serve all of us in just 45 minutes, including appetizers, main courses, drinks, and desserts.

Lovely old building, not at its best. Customer service was not warm or smiling at all. Food was OK, my least favourite Pizza Express by a long way. We shan’t be coming back to this one.

Really disappointing. We love pizza express normally but this one is rubbish. Noisy, poky, cramped. Unhelpful staff who refused twice to move us to a better (available) table because they didn’t want to let us move a chair. Big thumbs down. Voir le carte

Small group, three generations, all really well served and happy. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff told us all about the history of the oldest Pizza Express still open great story, fabulous building. We loved everything about our lunch there!

Staff aren't very helpful or friendly, place looks a mess, they were doing ice cream desert prep. on the bar counter without gloves, and the pizza base was soggy. It seems that they are trying, but it's a long way from the usual Pizza Express standard.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The server with glasses who waited on our table made our visit even more enjoyable. She was charming and her service was exceptional. We came for a late lunch with two kids. Our waitress, Amreeta, was new but superb. She was very friendly and anything she didn’t know, she took the initiative to find out. I asked her about an old pizza that used to be on the menu and the manager, Anna, came and kindly offered to have it done for me. Pizza Express is an old favourite and the food didn’t disappoint. What made this visit unique was Amreeta and how clean the branch is. It has one of the cleanest toilets in London!

We visited this Pizza Express location during a day trip to London. It is a small restaurant with a nice indoor setting. However, the outdoor area looked unkempt, with an abandoned sofa left there. We ordered three pizzas, all of which were of decent quality, so we were satisfied with the food. Unfortunately, the waiter's service was average and lacking in customer focus. He did not smile or provide good service. When I went to the restroom, the waiter informed my wife that a service charge was not included in the bill, which we found to be bold and disrespectful. We dined at this Pizza Express our last night in town bc it was close to our hotel, but ended up regretting it. While the food was good, the server seemed bothered by our presence from the get-go and it only got worse. I 'm not sure if she hates tourists, Americans, life...but she shared her vibe quite openly. When my husband asked a question about how to properly pay, she dropped the card reader on the table and rudely said, just read the screen and proceeded to stand and stare off towards a future where we were just bad memories.
