Really lovely breakfast here by the river. Good customer service. I had the veggie breakfast and it was really delicious. Would recommend.

I recently visited this restaurant after seeing a post about it on a Facebook page. The setting was lovely, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine with a view of the marina. I highly recommend a visit, especially on a sunny day so you can dine outside. Voir le carte

This is a wonderful location to enjoy the view of the marina. We decided to sit outside on a warm day, and with the twinkling lights, it felt like we were in a foreign country. The food was delicious, with generous portions at a reasonable price. It's a great spot for coffee and cake or something more special. We will definitely be returning.

Had a great meal last night on the warmest evening of the year !! Fantastic location Starter was absolutely perfect. My main was nice. Although I wished I’d chosen the beef dish my friend had , that was absolutely lovely looking. The staff were really good. Very attentive. The price was really reasonable good value. Will definitely return before the winter !

Delicious Sunday morning breakfast by the riverside We had a full English breakfast delicious local produce with great friendly service. We went for the traditional breakfast which was plenty for us plus drinks … sat inside but then moved outside afterwards to enjoy extra drinks in the sunshine … by The River Soar. The restaurant is situated in a stunning and peaceful location overlooking a perfectly maintained marina. The menu is creative and the dishes not only look amazing but also taste fantastic. The service was excellent and we had the pleasure of meeting Gianna, the lively owner of the marina. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are excited to return in the future.

Really disappointed. The lady that took our order got it completely wrong. One of us explained that we were vegan and no eggs on the plate but the breakfast arrived with eggs. It took quite a long time to be served initially despite not many customers in there. My friend was served the wrong coffee and both of our coffees were no better than warm at best. On our last visit all 3 of the disabled spaces were taken up with super cars which we were informed were the owners of the restaurant. It’s such a shame as the setting is lovely, overlooking the lock. Very overpriced which I guess is due to the location.

I would have never had known about this hidden gem until taking a boat trip on the river soar with friends. Strange place to get to, down a very narrow winding lane. Absolutely stunning location! Overlooking the marina plus great outdoor seating . The inside is also very pleasant. The menu isn’t huge but all cooked fresh- two of our ladies had steak apparently it was delicious!/some had fish chips and other choices. All came at the same time, which is important, butthe downside is we did have to wait quite a while despite pre ordered. We arrived at 1pm had drinks but did not eat until 1.50pm when we all were starving hungry But we must say, it was well worth the long wait Great place for lun... Voir le carte
