The portions were generous and the food was freshly prepared. I experienced excellent service during a quiet Thursday lunch. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

Hidden gem, very classy feeling restaurant at countryside marina near Loughborough. Food is exceptional and can highly recommend the breakfast croquette which is fantastic. A hidden gem! I adore everything about this place and truly have nothing negative to say. The dining experience is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! I've tried almost everything on the menu during our frequent visits, and I can confidently say they serve the best English breakfast of all time!

I was very disappointed with my advertised GFO Sunday lunch. It seems that it became gluten-free simply by omitting the non-GF Yorkshire pudding, which I consider a significant part of a traditional Sunday roast. Additionally, I wasn't offered anything to compensate for the absence of the Yorkshire pudding. The meal itself was nice, but the service left much to be desired. I had to remind staff about my pot of tea, which was ultimately delivered by another member of the team, so we weren’t charged for it. It's a shame because I really love this place, but unfortunately, today’s experience fell short.

Dropped in for a casual anniversary lunch today, and had one of our favourite meals in a long time. The restaurant is looking really stylish right now, a nice relaxing space, inside and out. The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. We've been visiting the restaurant for 13 years now, and the recent new Manager has really built on the customer experience improvements made at the restaurant over the last few years, it is the best I think it's ever been.
