"Personal thoughts on experience 8.5/10 Generally, all cooking methods executed without fault. No meats were dry; neither under nor overcooked. Some interesting twists were attempted, and pulled off, but were not spectacular. Not quite out there enough perhaps, but that is my personal preference for the hints of flavours to be quite apparent. The components of the dish sometimes did complement each other, but not always in harmony, and there was a feeling that they were quite often different segments of a dish, rather than one collective dish. Happened to go on a beautiful day, very sunny, with the light streaming in through the window to our table, which I certainly enjoyed, and made the experience better! Tom, one of the co founders of Picture, was there on the day, and he was very cheerful, and a bit cheekily humourous, which made the experience more enjoyable for me! Recommended if If you are looking to try some interesting twists on British cuisine, at a pretty relaxed atmosphere."

the image offers a 6-course-painting menu for £45, which compares very cheaply with its a la carte menu. the food was excellent with all the cures unforgettable. one of our party was chef and she was impressed. beautiful evening wonderful food.

I'd give him six stars for worth. very refined eating, very rich and filling, although smaller plates. the mushroom and slowly boiled egg 'tart' was exceptional and absolutely a Michelin star dish. the tasting menu is so good. especially for lunch. great, friendly service. highly recommended. The sushi at this restaurant is excellent – you can really taste that it is fresh and made to order. While the restaurant was busy and there was a slight delay in the food arriving, the friendly Italian and Spanish staff kept us entertained during the wait. The dessert was amazing and they even allow dogs on the premises.

My husband and I booked a table without knowing anything about the restaurant and we were both very nicely surprised indeed! The ambience is simple but elegant, the service was well-paced and the staff personable. The food was spectacular, every mouthful was delicious and there are little added extras (free bread butter, and an amuse bouche) that really set the tone for a wonderful dining experience.
