Friendly service. Bad quality of food. Italian food? Not at all! Milanese with spaghetti, Carbonara with double cream…

I wasn't impressed by this place. The starters lacked flavour, the pizza wasn't crispy and my pasta was undercooked and not at all spicy, despite being described as that. I left most of it but no one bothered asking why.

Great little Italian restaurant. Service was great, food was really tasty and authentic. All home made. Staff were friendly, service was quick. We got there at 5pm by the time we left they were queuing at the door to get in. Highly recommend if you like good quality Italian food. Voir le carte

Came here for lunch and when booking, the person who answered the phone couldn't tell if the restaurant would be open for lunch. The waiting staff were standard, nothing special but did the job. Bruschetta was nice. Spaghetti arabiatta was not spicy at all. The tables are also very close together.

Very good and friendly service, cozy and clean restaurant, maybe a little bit overpriced. Not quite happy with caprese salad, it was literally one piece of mozzarella(not even di bufala and not cut in slices and the tomatoes didn’t feel like they had been refrigerated. The portions were really generous and appreciated as well as the quality of the food itself, which really reminded me of my ‘’ NAPOLI’’ ..will definitely be pleased to go back again.

As a Vegan I find it difficult to find somewhere to eat that are respectful to my choice. Salvatore went above and beyond to ensure I was well looked after. They even went out to get Soya milk so that I could have a coffee. With my friends food, they kindly catered to extra mushrooms and tons of chilli. Food was lovely, tasty and plenty of it. We sat by the window with lots of cushions so could get comfortable Will definitely go this restaurant again. Only mins from station. A big thank you to Salvatore. We are very grateful Voir le carte

What a treasure we stumbled upon. Our family wandered into Piccolo and it was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. Our picky eater daughter declared both the calamari and Milanese some of the best she’d ever eaten. My lasagna was also excellent as was my husband’s soup and our apple tarte dessert! The restaurant has a lovely casual neighborhood charm. It wasn’t ever full while we were there, which made no sense to us, but is great news for anyone looking for a last minute option. Highly recommend — we will absolutely return.

We visited Piccola for an early dinner in November last year. It was not too crowded and we were seated comfortably at once. The food was very good and we didn't have to wait too much to be served. The dough balls and the pesto were awesome. I found the pricing to be a tad on the higher side. When we were done I asked the waiter to pack up the little bit of food that was left over by my little one to go. He gave me a look which I couldn't really care for, but maybe it might do well for them to do without next time. He probably found it strange that someone bothered with a few spoonfuls of leftover food to be taken away rather than tossed off in the bin. Well, he should know better, should go...

I am very surprised at some of the reviews here or maybe I live on another planet! Possibly the best Italian I have had in London! Really good. Small restaurant in Hampstead, limited tables which are very close together. I went for a very late lunch at 15:30 on a Sunday afternoon which was a good idea as it was much quieter then. Staff were super friendly. Service was very efficient. Lovely cosy and homely! Felt like being back in Italy. Big selection on the menu from pizza to pasta, meat, fish, desserts and more.
