"Disappointing experience which did not reflect the good reviews I saw online. Service was very slow and intermittent. The waiter did not appear to take my allergy seriously. He was hard to understand communication was difficult but he appeared to make jokes about it, and then came back to the table twice to check again what it was (gluten, a very common allergy). This didn't give me any confidence that it would be properly addressed. The restaurant smelled stale and the table was sticky to the touch. Overall, a very disappointing experience and I am not likely to return."

Popped in for a quick bite to eat ahead of attending a Livery Hall event and was not disappointed staff very attentive, food and drinks delicious and nothing too much trouble!

Wonderful lunch on a quiet Saturday afternoon. As it was quiet the staff were really attentive, gave great opinions on what cut of steak was looking good in the kitchen and recommended side dishes.

not as it was before! came to the first time at the beginning of the year here, and it has completely changed. food standards and service were not tailored to the standards. looks like we're not going back to the future.

it really enjoyed this place. big eat, big wein and really cool, after work, atmosphere. I had to order the velvet, because it is that that this place is named. and I have to say I am not sure what a lamb they have the velvet, but it was huge! and tasty saw the cake on the other side a little unorthodox, but it was a little flowing.

Made a reservation for our party of 9 to enjoy dinner before a theatre show. They had a table set and ready for us when we arrived. The meal ended up being one of the best meals we had while in London. The chicken and leek pie was delicious and cooked perfectly! We also enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding! Thanks for a great experience.
