Every time I go back to Catania, granita at Mantegna is a must. Food is delicious and service impeccable.

We stopped here for a bite and finished by having a delicious lunch with the best ice cream we have ever had! The staff was kind and the prices were friendly. We cannot wait until our next visit!

this was a favorite and we went several times. it is on the Via Etnea and if the weather is not too toasty it is pleasant to sit outside. i discovered the aperol spritzer and found my hot weather drink. it is sharp and tart and with lots of ice is superb.

Lovely grilled vegetables and beautiful beef served with lemon and olive oil- a little confusing how to order so do as the Italians do or just point at what you want-you then sit down and are reunited with what you chose-lovely traditional Italian pasticeria-worth it for the real Italian experience!

Waiter was quick and responsive. The amount of food and choice is really delightfully massive. I have to say though that some of the patisserie lacked in flavour. Ingredients were fresh and cannoli were made after ordering and tasted very fresh. I would have used different glasses for latte and tea, but hey not a bad choice at all

Potete andare a qualsiasi ora, troverete sempre qualcosa che solletica il vostro gusto, laVostra fantasia culinaria…specialità catanesi e siciliane. Non vi perdete la cartocciata assolutamente, di qualsiasi gusto la preferiate, anche se personalmente consiglio la classica pomodoro cotto e formaggio. E non vi perdete la brioche con la granita. Vista sul lungo mare. Prezzi nella media catanese.

This small place on Via Etnea is specialized both in savoury and in sweets. On one side side there is the bar and hot food (excellent vegetarian arancini both spinach and eggplant) and on the other a vast array of sicilian sweets (only thing I didn't like there was the cassata which seemed sweeter than they usually are, it was sickly to my tastes). Always reliable, long opening hours, definitely worth the visit! My only grumble (as a not wealthy vegetarian) would be that the vegetarian arancini were half the size of the meat ones yet cost the same! Other than that, very friendly service. Go there if you get the chance!

It 's 6:00 pm of any day, the call for aperitif, one of the most attractive Italian practices automatically picks my brain. Many places out there to enjoy, one of my favourites Mantegna. 6:11 pm we are pleasantly sit outside just in that corner where you see and may be seen, feeling the breeze of the Mediterranean and enjoying Camparis, aperol spritz, birras...6:49 pm the place is packed , people here and there, chatting, laughing, celebrating, the atmosphere in this place is memorable, the food is so good, even the olives are the best, cheese selection magnificent, brioches, mini pizza and arancini, following another Campari; 7:32 pm ready for more, this time Octopus antipasti this is Bocat...
