"We ate here on our trip to Berlin, these area of the East Side is really charmful and quaint with lots of small restaurants and cozy streets. Papaya really was an oasis of good food and nice atmosphere, we had two types of red curry...with coconut milk with prawna and another one with crispy duck. Also we had a hibiscus and a ginger tea and for dessert an amazing rice, banana and coconut milk porridge-like dish. We had an amazing time and the food was great. Also the staff was really friendly and spoke good english, also the service was very fast. Overall nice place to eat!"

I love this place. The food is authentic and wholesome. The prices are very reasonable, too. When in west it's a must if you fancy Thai.

A nice local Thai restaurant. Good food, reasonable price. We took the non-spicy Pad Pak Ruam with Tofu and it was delicious. Recommended!

We went to Papaya for fresh Thai food. We tasted the vegetarian curry. Very good. The restaurant is a small place with nice people. We surely recomment this place!

This place has seating over two floors and yet is so well organised. The food was inspired and the service was spot on. Will definitely be going back in the new year.

There are several restaurants in what seems to be a chain of Papaya Thai restaurants in Berlin, but the menus must not be identical. (I had avoided the one in Hauptstrasse because the menu looked unpromising). This branch very decent Thai dishes, including an array of good appetizers and curries.

Although it's probably better during the day while sitting outdoors, we had a very good and satisfying dinner, inexpensive, tasty food and they even had a couple of good and inexpensive wines. Totally recommend this place, the service was efficient and although it lacks a bit of ambience, our experience was very nice.
