Papa Raj - Menu

This Indian restaurant is pretty good. The food is consistently tasty and the portions are always generous. It's a pity that the delivery service is always slow; it's definitely more convenient to just pick up the food yourself.

Ordered food on Saturday 3rd at 6.30 ,via online eta 8pm no sign at 8.30pm called to enquire,answered the phone then cut me off. Recieved food at 8.50 nearly two and half hrs,shocking service,if you can’t fulfill delivery then don’t take the order or worse my money.

Been a regular at this Indian for years and always been a nice curry house.not any more.terrible service includes wrong orders,warm food,very late delivery,not answering the phone,and even putting the phone down on you! It seems they are so popular now,they don’t really care.

Ordered online, hour and a half wait, food arrived on time but not hot. Large order and no extras included ie mango chutney, salad, mint dressing and poppadoms all have to be ordered and paid for. Will go elsewhere in future as delivery charge has also increased and service has deteriorated.

Celebrating a birthday yesterday with a huge order. Went to collect it as the delivery time was long. When we got it back there were things missing and a wrong meal packed. Rang them up and they were brilliant and apologetic. The items mentioned were replaced by delivery within 10 minutes. The food was amazing so gets a good recommendation from us!!!!

Ordered online. Offered choice of times to collect. Selected an option 45 mins in advance. Arrived to collect and told would be 1hr wait.Refund refused. It's really simple if you can't fulfil a service don't offer it on your booking system it's 2023! Won't be using again too unreliable. Sort your booking system out, or maybe just go back to old fashioned phone only orders.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Papa Raj. I spent £62.65 and didn't receive any pappadams, mango chutney, or mini salad. Instead, I only got 5 portions of raitha. The peshwari naan was undercooked, dry, and lacked flavor, and it appeared to be smaller than before. I paid £6.20 for 4 tiny samosas. Papa Raj used to be excellent in every aspect, but it seems to have declined in quality. I suggest they include some pappadams for orders over £50.

Ordered a variety of curries for my mum's birthday, we were all blown away by the different flavours (especially the prawn dansak) onion bahjis were perfectly crispy, chicken tandoori was extremely flavoursome and tender. Didn't repeat on us the morning after like some Indian takeaways do. Delivery was a little late but they were apologetic on arrival, and to be expected to a Saturday night with such a big order so we didn't mind 10/10 would 100% order again. Could actually eat it now

I have always ordered from this restaurant and have always received excellent food and service. However, the delivery times have not always been great. Tonight was a particularly terrible experience. The customer service was lacking, especially in terms of their ordering system. We booked a delivery for half past 7, but had to call at 8:50 when we saw that our delivery was supposedly already delivered at 8:30. We found out that our food was still in the restaurant, about to leave. Although the girl apologized after being challenged, she did not seem to understand or acknowledge that telling us our food would arrive around half past 9 was not acceptable, especially after we had already been w...
