worst service ever. we are still waiting for our main courses to be served... two days later. nobody cared a bit.

Tiny restaurant, very friendly staff. Only fish and seafood dishes. We selected from the menu, all very tasty, including dessert. Fantastic risotto and tuna with chia seed breadcrumbs!

The only authentic place in a street full of tourists' restaurants. We had an exquisite lunch here, both the food and the wine were delicious and the proprietors very welcoming. My sister's coeliac disease didn't pose any problem at all any contamination of her dish with gluten was avoided in the most professional manner. I strongly recommend the dolci !

Una taverna che serve solo pesce e che non è una trappola turistica non è così facile da trovare al battaglione di pesca, ma questo posto è al centro. tavolo non molto spazioso ma intimo, menu vario e originale, il pesce è protagonista in tutta la sua forma e per incontrare tutti i palati. materie prime sono di ottima qualità e vengono cotte per massimizzare la loro qualità. servizio gentile ma un po' lento. prezzo non economico ma solo per la qualità della cucina.

This restaurant has the subtitle osteria di mare which means they are specialized on seafood. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is run by the owner itself. They are very flexible and on request they served me a vegan portion of spaghetti with tomato garlic. The spaghetti tasted fantastic as they were especially al dente! Before the meal they served white bread with a delicious bottle of fresh mountain water. While I was eating I enjoyed the sunshine on their terrace. Inside and outside the restaurant they have beautiful decoration.

ci siamo fermati a pranzo in un viaggio in Maremma e siamo stati piacevolmente stupiti. travestito da una semplice taverna, un vero ristorante arredato in modo semplice ma ben curato che serve ottima cucina marina con molta attenzione agli ingredienti utilizzati. servizio alla mano ma cortese. ottimo il crostone di merluzzo, degno di nota i loro spaghetti “in bianco”, da condire con scelta e secondo la disponibilità della giornata con riccioli, colatura di alici, bottarga o ostrica. porzioni giuste, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. consigliato sia in estate (ci sono anche tavoli con vista sul corso) e in una bella giornata invernale.

We got this place recommended and it has an ideal location in the busy main street through Castiglione della Pescaia. The menu was very tempting and the dishes that were served looked delicate and amazing. We started with mixed cold cuts of local meats with some pecorino cheeses and it was classic, but still a good start. Then I had mixed raw seafood. It looked amazing, but the tastes were not as expected. It was rather tasteless. I got tempted to test even a dessert, but it was a big disappointment. This is a top-quality family-run restaurant that pays attention to every little detail, from the moment the father brings the fish ashore to the way his wife and daughter explain the dishes that arrive on your plate and the drinks poured in your glass. We were really impressed with the creative flair and great care paid to the presentation — hopefully the photos here do it justice. From the chickpea soup topped with mussels, to the fish preserved in oil, paired with crunchy ‘giardiniera’ vegetables with a tang of vinegar, to handmade ravioli filled with locally caught amberjack (and cured fish, prosciutto style), served on top, to a tasty do-it-yourself tiramisu artfully served like coffee,...

The restaurant is quite small but very nice, located in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. It is very busy during summer, so be sure to reserve for dinner otherwise it won 't be possible to have dinner. We reserved a table for the second turn starting at 9:30 pm. We arrived there earlier (around 9:15), but we got our table only at 10:00 pm. That was a bit annoying, but we didn 't say anything as we could see the waiters very busy trying to serve all the tables. Waiters were nice and the menu has a wide selection of sea food.
