"After having two consecutive lunches at La Baita in Faenza, we opted for a change after a morning's browsing at the market. The decor is original and could be interesting if everything else is was running properly. After being seated we were told the griller...was not working, then we asked for mineral water but received normal water (which they normally charge for, however, when we pointed out we did not get our mineral water they deducted any charge for water). After eating we waited and waited for someone to clear our plates and offer dessert or coffee. After 20 minutes we got up and went to the cashier. On the table there was a notice asking patrons to ask for the bill at the table (as the picture shows). The waiter then said he did not come back to us because the beer on tap was not working and he was trying to fix it. We left with an awkward feeling."

Un sabato a pranzo abbiamo preso garganelli sexy e gnocco fritto con salumi entrambi buoni, servizio lentino e qualche odore un po' sgradevole (tipo di bruciato) ogni tanto ma niente di particolarmente fastidioso.

Do not expect very sophisticated food and fish at the Osteria del Mercato. They are oriented towards offering a quick first and second dish, while their pizza is also very tasty. Bread is homemade, but it is better to have it for lunch, because for...dinner it will be too cold. Meat on the grill, pasta and gnocchi of different kinds and some tasty desserts are the main products this Osteria can offer. The service is also very nice, the location is very close to the historical centre and the interiors are quiet traditional and comfortable.
