Good food, fantastic wine and super friendly service! We always ask for the owner/waiters’ recommendation, that’s how we ended with a table full of digestives to try. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We went here to have lunch and all the dishes that we tasted were perfect. The chef is specialized in seafood dishes and you can try the different local food. The hospitality was really nice, in fact we repeated the restaurant the following day. Great quality-price relontship. Highly recommend.

What a great surprise this restaurant was. Me and my family were looking for a place for dinner and this was the best place I’ve been in Florence by far. We had a shrimps and pistachio pasta that was a delight, we then ordered the special of the day, tuna in 4 different ways, a jaw dropping dish beautifully presented that was a journey all around the world for the palate. The desserts were simple but tasteful. The atmosphere was very cosy, the waiter was welcoming but never intrusive, the perfect recipe for a great night. I highly recommend this place. Most of the restaurants, even the really nice ones in Firenze, bring out cold, stale bread. This one brought out a very fresh warm rustic bread that was delicious. The owner/server was very kind and attentive. They brought out an amazing gazpacho as a free appetizer. The salad with mango, arugula and mozzarella I ordered was very fresh and delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly rare and very flavorful. Their spin on eggplant Parmesan with shrimp was very unique and very good. It’s in a part of the neighborhood that is very authentic and non-touristy. This is a locals place you must try!

Super fresh ingredients, masterly prepared, balanced flavors, and not over-engineered. Superb wine: for a mere 21 euros Chardonnay selected with the help of the owner ? , matching perfectly the seafood. BTW Florence is not far from the sea so, do not hesitate to eat fish, if you have enough of the Bisteca , charcuterie and cheeses.
