Orwell's Brasserie - Carte

Reasonable service and average food but we didn’t have to venture out in the cold! The vegetable pie was tasty and hot and the steak pie ok but unadventurous.

The menu offers a good variety of food options, with the steaks being particularly recommended. I always make a point to stop and eat here when passing through on my way to Heathrow.

I had breakfast today at Orwell's. Typically all hotels in UK provide the full English or Continental breakfast, even Orwells does, however the restaurant size and the ambiance was excellent. The buffet was beyond the full English breakfast. Voir le carte

The breakfast at this restaurant is a fantastic choice in the morning. The area is clean, there is a wide variety of options to choose from, and the staff are attentive and passionate about their work. It is unfortunate that this restaurant is located in a run-down hotel.

What a great selection of breakfast items. Plenty of choice for hot items, including black pudding and the usual English breakfast items.Yoghurts and fresh fruit great for the health conscious. Nice selection of cold meats, cheeses, various breads and pastries. Definitely recommend.

My Wife I ate here recently during an overnight stay at the CP Hotel. Food service were both excellent.Reasonable menu choice. They have good Chefs Waiting Staff. Only downside is the prices. They were advertising a fixed price menu offer but we had to ask for it . It was not offered automatically. Voir le carte

Not a lot on the menu .over priced you have to add any form of side ..ie veg potatoes. Salad .extra price!! .I orders lemon some not good hardly anything of it ..so really I just had mash potato and 2 tiny forkful of fish...all deserts come only with ice cream ...I mean sticky toffee pudding should come with custard ..have to pay extortionate bill and go find something else to eat !! Not happy

I highly recommend trying the steak at Orwells - it is cooked perfectly and served with a side salad, chips, and a fantastic Bottle Of passori. Our server Kelly recommended the wine and provided exceptional service. The sticky toffee dessert she suggested was absolutely delicious, especially with vanilla ice cream. Kelly truly exceeded our expectations and provided us with a great start to our holiday. Thank you once again.

Once again Orwell's delivered, this time a medium ribeye absolutely spot on, with a very nice side salad, thin potato chips, and a large portion of garlic herb butter. The restaurant is dimly lit peaceful haven secluded from the rush along the corridor with people checking in and out and generally running around. It is relatively quiet although there is a funny choice of music. But it is the steak that is most important. I can see other diners enjoying other dishes, perhaps I should try them next time.
