Olivers Fish And Chips

Fish was tasteless and felt like it had been cooked well before the order. Could not eat the cod and as for the chips just awful. Cold and equally as unpalatable as the fish Never again

We used to go to Olivers in Haverstock Hill NW3. Since my disability worsened we have our Fish and Chips delivered by them. The food is always piping hot and the fish and chips done to perfection. I would recommend Olivers to anyone.

Fish was tasteless. Not even adding salt, pepper, and Tabasco helped it. Chips were undercooked and soggy. The coleslaw was good. I got the grilled cod. Maybe other items on their menu are better but based on other reviews seems pretty hit or miss. Voir le carte

This restaurant not only offers delicious side dishes, but the food also comes out piping hot. The portions are generous, so it's recommended to share the chips when ordering sides. We have dined in and also had delivery, both experiences were equally delicious. I always prefer the haddock over the cod.

I first tried this place on a recommendation of a colleague who mentioned their matzo batter, and then it became our local and we go the whole time now. Just delicious fish with great chips, haddock and cod are both really good, and we’ve ordered a deep fried Mars bar before which was jaw shatteringly sweet but fun to share. Really recommend.

Usually ok here but both the cod were served undercooked. First I thought it was a great and speedy experience only when I got home and I realise why it was so quick with both the cod pieces being undercooked in the middle. Really unfortunate as then both the main pieces went straight in the bin. The chips were tasty and not oily shame this other bit let the side down Voir le carte

Had 2 fish and chips. they charged extra for eating in, which is a bit of why already, charged extra for the tartar sauce, come on guys its a fish and chips, tartar is part of it. its like would like to eat a big mac and they ask me if I want big mac sacue in it... but anyway the food was terrible bad for the stomach anyways, overpriced and the service was also quite low level.

I dined at Oliver's in the late afternoon and it was not busy, so they cooked my fresh battered cod as I waited. The fish and batter were perfect, with the fish being tasty and flakey, and the batter crispy and free of oil. The chips were traditional fish and chips style, chunky, soft and slightly potato-like, and I enjoyed them all. I personally prefer thinner, crispier fries, so having a choice would have been nice. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. While it may not be the cheapest option for fish and chips, you are in the pricey NW3 area.

We had the worst experience with the fish and chips at this restaurant. We felt like we were ripped off. We placed an order for pick up and when we got home, we found that the chips were undercooked, soggy, and some even tasted raw. The fish was bland and tasteless, with too much batter - it was like eating cardboard. We had to add salt to make it somewhat palatable. We ended up throwing away all the chips and could only manage to eat some of the fish. To top it off, it was incredibly expensive - we spent £28 for two people! It was a huge disappointment. We suggest avoiding this place at all costs as it seems to have no consistency in the quality of their food, as evidenced by all the 1-star... Voir le carte
