"After being disappointed by a local restaurant we called to ask if they had a table available for 5 people which included a highchair and were told not a problem. After arriving we were greeted by smiles by all staff members and our waiter named Joe couldn't help us enough. He immediately settled us in, took our drinks order and asked if there was anything else he could do. Our food arrived quickly and it was hot, unlike other establishments. He simply couldn't do enough for us. We normally visit a more local restaurant but we are so happy we made the further car journey to here. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning again. Thank you Joe!"

The first time I visited The Old Buttercross, both the food and the staff were excellent. The restaurant itself was really impressive, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Given how busy it was, the staff managed to serve our meals promptly. We encountered a minor issue with our food, but this is not typical, and the staff graciously offered us the dish for free along with a discount. I couldn't have asked for better service.

I've dined here several times with friends and family, and I can confidently say we've never had a bad meal or experienced poor service. The staff is always very helpful, and the value for money is excellent. To top it all off, we celebrated New Year's Eve there. The food was fantastic, and the staff was cheerful and accommodating. Plus, we even had Elvis performing! It was brilliant—keep up the great work!
