O'Hara's Comptoir - Menu

I am sorry that my title is all caps, but a place like this deserves it. This place is a MUST visit if you like Quiche. It has the best one i ever tasted. Also the people who work there are very nice and speak proper English.

Best quiche ever! Service is great, Speaks english and are very nice. Sandwiches are great too and the crooshllent irlandais pie is the best to end your meal! I recommend to have Coffee first at le bun next to le comptoir and go here for a good breakfist or lunch.

After finishing my lunch in another place, I longed for dessert. Someone recommended le comptoir for me and what an advise. You cannot get a better pie in Montpellier. It is very tasty and fluffy. The person who served me was Irish and also spoke excellent English.

Ici, j'ai déjeuné deux fois : poulet tikka en brochette sur un lit de riz. La viande était parfaitement cuite. Lors de ma deuxième visite, j'ai été soulagé de voir qu'il était toujours au menu; je n'ai pas pu résister. J'ai accompagné le tout avec un jus de pomme local suivi d'une excellente tarte aux noix de pécan. Et en prime, un bon café.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Generous prawn salad for myself and husband and nephew enjoyed the homemade quiche and salad. Very flavoursome food, all homemade. Dessert , well again homemade and delicious. Will definitely return here again and again. Excellent value for money. Owners very helpful and friendly. A must if you visit Montpelller.

The home made quiche and salad was beautiful. We had coffee and home made desert afterwards and that was really great also. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely a great place to go as the food was slightly different that the food available in the local restaurants. The price was very competitive. Overall a really great experience.

Nous avons tous les deux pris le plat du jour ! C'était incroyable ! Les propriétaires étaient généreux et très sympathiques. Nous avons ri tout le temps. Les desserts sont magnifiques et ont un goût encore meilleur ! Et parce qu'ils savaient que mon cœur américain me manquait de la glace dans mon soda, ils ont tenu à me donner mon propre verre de glace ! Nous reviendrons certainement pour plus de bonne nourriture et de conversations !

We stopped by for breakfast one morning based on other Trip Advisor reviews. The daughter of the owners served us coffee and was very friendly. We noticed there were only a few options in the display case for pastries and we were looking for something more. She (owner's daughter) asked what it was we wanted and said that her mom was at the market grabbing bread for the day, and would call her to ask her to get what we wanted. When mom returned (owner), she was very friendly and accommodating. I asked if they could do a breakfast sandwich (fried egg on croissant) and the owner even suggested adding bacon to the sandwiches.
