"While walking around on our last night in Venice, we stumbled on that valued but rare phenomenon known as, the perfect hole in the wall. That was Lorenzo 's place, Officina San Barnaba. Lorenzo was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we asked for a couple spritz beverages, he added a few small sandwich bites to complete the aperitivo experience. So, of course we ordered a bigger plate of prosciutto and cheese, which was prepared carefully with fresh food, and arranged beautifully on a large plate. We cleaned that plate. During our visit, Lorenzo checked up on us. Furthermore, we were sitting in the back of his place, which was essentially outside, so he brought out an insect-repellant candle to help with mosquitoes. Lorenzo was very patient as we put together our questions and statements in our beginners ' level Italian, and we were able to communicate just fine. Please, please do go to see him. His place is small, but his heart is big."

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Abbiamo mangiato ottimamente. Location vicino piazza San marco è raggiungibile a piedi. Il servizio ottimo soprattutto la cameriera che ha gestito al meglio molte e diverse situazioni. DA PROVARE

Osteria San Barnaba di Venezia è un posto molto accogliente grazie a una ragazza del Marocco molto simpatica e bella che esaudisce ogni richiesta. Qui puoi mangiare ottimi piatti di Venezia avendo qualità e ottimi prezzi. Nonostante fossimo a Rialto, siamo arrivati in appena 15 minuti a piedi. Non siamo veneziani e veniamo da Roma quello che abbiamo riscontrato è un ambiente cordiale e familiare ,camerieri gentili e socievoli. Abbiamo mangiato cucina tipica veneziana con i piatti del giorno e siamo rimasti particolarmente colpiti dai sapori e dalla bontà del cibo. Un buon vino in bottiglia pinot grigio (921) E ci hanno offerto del vin santo Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

This is truly one of the best places I've had the pleasure of visiting. Lorenzo is an incredibly kind and gracious host. The food is amazing and Lorenzo makes the perfect spritz, the drink of Venice. My mother and I stayed in Venice for a week this past May and we made sure to visit Lorenzo several times. His restaurant is intimate and has a relaxing atmosphere. Please stop and see him on your way through this breathtaking city. This place embodies the hospitality and rich culture Venice has to offer.
