"We visited and were accommodated for dinner (get there around 8pm) it was starting to fill up with locals and became quite a busy restaurant! The food was wonderfully fresh, cooked to order and despite my complete (well, near enough) lack of Spanish we managed! The waiter was very helpful and when google couldn't translate he and I figured stuff out with sign language lol! We had the razor clams (my first time) they were great! The clam empanada (of sorts) which was also a first and very tasty! We had sliced octopus with olive oil and paprika which was divine and my husband had the sardines. All in all very reasonable and hearty! If you want authentic Spanish fish restaurant this is for you!!"

Comida poco elaborada , hay varios restaurantes por Rianxo que le dan mil vueltas. El camarero que nos atendió muy majo.

La comida estaba exquisita, las raciones enormes, la atención de Mario inmejorable! No es recomendable ir a comer a O Taberneiro, es obligatorio! Volveremos sin duda.

Menú del día (12 € postre y café sin más, normalito con raciones que te llegan. No tienes problemas para aparcar. Servicio eficiente y amable. Situado al lado de la lonja de Rianxo.

The local men seemed surprised to see foreigners and one of them female in their restaurant that is their place. The service was good, the seafood was very good, and it was nice to be in a non-touristic place.

Cenamos una tortilla de patata muy rica (para dos personas y una media ración de pulpo que era bastante escasa (como una tapa pero por 11€ y dos postres, tarta de queso y flan de huevo. El camarero fue amable y nos ayudó a elegir. En general el sitio se puede mejorar bastante para que sea un lugar más agradable.

This is where all the locals eat you can see why. It's buzzing the food is delicious. I went with my parents on a rainy day we had a veritable seafood feast a bottle of Godello to wash it all down. We left very happy having relished each of our dishes, particularly the mussels empanada de maíz enjoyed watching the boats in the port come go. I live locally so I will definitely be back.
