The restaurant boasts stunning modern decor and offers excellent food. The staff were attentive and friendly, making for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel dining room was lovely. The waiter was very attentive and polite and regular topping our drinks up. The finger sandwiches and desserts and scones were yummy and plentiful. We had afternoon tea which I highly recommed.

bought afternoon tee by groupon. it was okay, but won't go if it's full of price. sandwiches and scones are nice, but we didn't like the cakes. the bad is the drink. only 1 tee or coffee, but no refill. most afternoon places offer refillable tee. Voir le carte

Very disappointing. The waiter was great but then when trying to enjoy afternoon tea felt hassled as manager wanted more information about the voucher and stopping my friend and I enjoying ourself The cakes were a let down. Dry. Stodgy. No apology and kept away from us. Don't think I'd return

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. I redeemed a gift voucher without any issues, and the quality of service was outstanding. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The food selection was impressive, and they took all the necessary steps to ensure we had a delightful vegetarian afternoon. I will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful experience . The butler was so considerate and attentionate. I would like to commend the excellent service, I came for an afternoon tea with a person living with advanced dementia and they were able to accommodate us and make us feel welcome and comfortable despite the challenges. After a staff shift change, the service improved significantly. We initially thought the previous delays were due to the staff being at the end of a long shift, but when the morning crew started, it was the same story—staff were just standing around laughing rather than attending to customers. I don’t usually write reviews or lodge complaints, but it feels like management really needs to take control of the situation. While the venue itself is charming, it’s unfortunate that the overall experience was marred by rude, lazy, and unmanageable staff.

We stayed at the hotel and took lunch here, I think it’s very popular for afternoon teas, there was a large group of ladies coming in. But the staff still found us a table , for starters my partner had the soup he loved it, I just wanted the bread it wasn’t good very hard. For mains he had the fish and chips said that was delicious, I had the mushroom risotto, could have had a little more flavour but was very pleasant. The waitress and waiter we had serving us we brilliant, the waiter was absolutely amazing , kind and polite, will definitely go back even if we don’t stay in the hotel.

The selection of teas and coffee was delightful. We enjoyed a variety of sandwiches, including smoked salmon, salt beef, cucumber, and egg. For the scones, we each received one plain and one intriguingly chocolate chip-flavored instead of the traditional fruit. There was no shortage of clotted cream, raspberry jam, and fresh strawberry homemade jam to accompany them. For dessert, we were treated to macaroons, chocolate brownies, fruit cake, and a fruit tart. A lovely surprise was that the chef had written "Happy Birthday" on the cake plate—a thoughtful touch. Overall, this place was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it. Voir le carte
