Northern Crafthouse

Called in Friday night for a quick pint before moving on to a curry, staff very helpful and got drinks straight away. Hidden gem really, just a shame foods not served later because we would have eaten there instead!

We have dined at this restaurant several times in the last few months and the food has consistently been fresh, well-presented, and delicious. It is great that they serve food until 10pm. The staff are friendly and enjoy a good laugh, which adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. They also offer a great selection of cocktails.

What a great place to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday. Northern Crafthouse looked after everything perfectly for us. The food was perfect and enjoyed by all, they even provided gluten free food for one of our guests. The conservatory was the perfect size for the number of guests we had. Yet again I've been blown away by this absolute gem. Their festive specials are incredible. A delightful burger, superb loaded fries and nicest gravy I've ever had! One small thing was that there wasn't pigs in blankets on the fries as listed on the menu but sausage slices instead. However I still enjoyed every mouthful. As always the service was fantastic. My favourite place in the UK for burgers.

My son in law organised a surprise 30th for my daughter here. it was superb. He booked it for an afternoon because the guest list included a few children. We were allowed to decorate the room and had exclusive use until 8pm. The food was so good. They served burgers, taco's, pulled pork wraps plus a selection of chips, plain to spicy. The quality was first class the portions were very generous. My one only minor criticism is that the bar could have benefitted from additional staff.

The Sunday roast burger is one of the best things I've ever eaten and I highly recommend adding the loaded tots on the side if you have the stomach for it! All parts of the burger were superb. Tasty chicken and delicious thick beef patties. The mini pigs in blankets were lush aswell. I've been meaning to come back here after a fantastic previous visit a couple of years ago and I'm delighted I finally managed to make the trip. The staff at this restaurant exceeded our expectations tonight. We have a teenage daughter with autism who struggles with crowds and loud noises, as well as a grandparent with a restricted salt diet. The Northern Crafthouse handled it all with ease, finding a quieter area for our daughter and assisting with menu choices to accommodate our needs. Everyone enjoyed their meals and had a fantastic experience. This is definitely a must-visit spot for delicious burgers, generous portions, and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Everytime I come here I immediately remember why I return. The staff are top drawer and make you feel at home. More importantly the food is amazing and dirt cheap compared to similar types of place. I had my first Northern Crafthouse chicken burger experience and the 'Winner Winner ' was just that! 2 lovely crisp pieces of chicken with plenty of messy garlic mayo, fresh lettuce and my addition of pickles (cut the proper way! all housed in a sweet soft buttery bun. I also had the Bacon Mac Tater Tots which were packed with thick cheese and went down a treat. Yet again a really enjoyable meal and I 'm sure to be back again soon!

Not able to pre book a table(service not offered for groupa under 8), so turned up hopeful of avoiding a wait for a table, but were seated straight away. Place seemed nice and clean, staff friendly, drinks order taken straight away. As soon as drinks arrived food order was taken and food arrived quickly, well presented and hot. Portion sizes were good, i had the hot chicken burger which was lovely, if very messy to eat. Loaded fries had plenty of toppings. Only niggle was a second drink somehow turned up with a rolled up waitors order in it along with the straw, staff were very apologetic and stuff like this does happen in busy places but it wasn't ideal!
