Niko’s Greek Taberna

Absolutely superb family meal at Niko's tonight. Food was fresh, very tasty and beautifully presented. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, but it certainly won't be our last. The staff were welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed the food.

In Morpeth for the weekend and this restaurant was a random choice-was a good choice-warm friendly welcome from all staff-good Greek quality food served in pleasant surroundings. Worth a visit if in the town.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. The calamari was cooked perfectly, which can be hard to find. The gyros platter and moussaka were also very tasty. The owner and staff were friendly and provided quick service. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Greek food!

Beautiful food great service, manager was lonely made us feel like we were back in Greece, we seen that there was a complication with another customer at the start of the night but felt bad for the staff as how the other party was reacting. Other than that it was lovely will definitely be back to try your lovely food.

Very disappointing Poor service and overrated quality of food Greek salad was tasteless and I could of presented it better myself. Main Moussaka was simple on its own with no additional sides. Service guide was seen on the stairs checking his phone as we waited over 15 minutes for the bill. No bread or olives on the table and no pitcher of water available Very poor

I went here with a friend last week. We had the early evening special. The food was delicious. Large portions for a special. There was water and olives on the table when we were seated. I had the butter beans in a tomato and feta sauce, my friend had stuffed vine leafs we bothe had chicken gyros platter followed by icecream. The staff were very friendly and professional. We will definitely go back again

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I tried the Early Starter 3 course menu and found the starter and main courses to be excellent. The quality of the food was really good and the portion sizes were just right for me. The service was very friendly and the prices were excellent value for money. Although the restaurant was busy early in the evening, we were accommodated even though we hadn't booked. I will definitely be returning.

First time at Niko's in Morpeth but will not be the last! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant music was not too loud making it possible to speak to each other. Staff were all very friendly and attentive the owner also very friendly and keen to see we had a good meal. Food was lovely we had Greek salad, Spanikopita (spinach pastry) and Keftedes (meatballs) as starters. The pastry was wonderful filo pastry wrapped round spinach filling yummy! Main courses were also fabulous Chicken in white wine sauce, Chicken gyros platter, Chicken skewer, Pork skewer large portions so be prepared! Bottle of house white wine with the meal was also good. No room for desserts unfortunately, just coffee. Can't w...
