"Murger Han features the food of lesser known Shaanxi province in China, which borders Sichuan. The clientele consisted mostly of trendy looking young Asians, and all of the tables near us placed their orders in Mandarin. But this is not a place with a basic Chinatown atmosphere. Though casual, it has a modern look decorated with light colored woods. You could bring a date here. We started by sharing the eponymous pork murger more traditionally known as rou jia mo. That's a Chinese hamburger of pulled pork between a bun of yeasted wheat-based flat bread. Not as exciting as some other Chinese meat sandwiches such as Taiwanese bao's eaten elsewhere. I preferred my murger doused with a little of the good chili oil that was on the table. Filling was a touch on the dry and salty side for my taste. I adored my main of biang biang mien which transported me to childhood. My mom grew up in Sichuan and used to make a similar tasting noodle dish with a sauce of fried tomatoes and garlic, thickened with beaten egg. This one was better than my mom's. I would recommend getting this dish with the full works for only an extra 60p, unless you are vegetarian. The version with chilli oil *and* tomato/egg also contains a big dollop of spicy braised pork, a mound of diced Chinese pickled mustard stems and chilli oil, as well as lightly boiled pak choi and tomato/egg sauce on top of thick hand pulled ribbons of rice noodle. Beguiling balance of spicy, tart, salty combined with the richness of egg yolk and the delicate sweetness of fresh tomato. A lovely slithery texture too. My companion ordered the version with only tomato/egg and complained that his dish was a little bland compared to mine. We drank tap water, and a very filling lunch for two came to £22.50 including service. We didn't manage to finish our mains because the portions are quite large. If you wanted to explore more of the menu they have small bowls on the table so you can share any of the large noodle dishes. I would be happy to order the biang biang mien with the full works here again."

very good, actually tastes good and authentic, not a modified western version. they go to soup-based nude and their JDB potion.

I was so excited when I found the typical food from my hometown!!! And the flavor is quite authentic : The restaurant is small and simple, but they serve a variety of traditional food from Shaanxi province. 在伦敦能吃到我家乡的西安小吃简直太让人激动啦!而且他们家的味道蛮正宗的!餐馆比较小,装修也非常简单,但是有各种特色的陕西小吃!

The Chinese burger at this restaurant is a standout dish worth trying. However, we did not enjoy the flat noodles we ordered and would not recommend them. The prices are reasonable and the small venue is perfect for casual dining. We would visit again if we were in the Euston area. Voir le carte

The food from Murger Han hails from China’s Xi’an province, meaning you should expect intense flavours and generous portions of brothy noodles and meaty burger-like concoctions. The City Lane team recently moseyed on down to fill up on some authentic Chinese food as well as a few cheeky beers.

that was my second visit. eating was generally great, although the maurer was not as nice as my first visit I fear. the staff was very friendly, except the girl who had in the bar area that she had a long face all night, could not be disturbed to answer questions, she was simply so miserable and rude.

I have been waiting for a xi’an restaurant in london for ten years and it is finally here. the staff are very friendly and in any case very close to the original xi’an kitchens. price is reasonable and much more employees actually speak well English. if they pass euston, they should try it! the black man should die! We actually went to the Mayfair outlet. The price was slightly higher than I would expect for Chinese food. The taste of the dishes however gave me a surprise. They were surprisingly good. I initially had doubt to order the tofu slices in peanut sauce. Hei it’s great and it has a taste of garlic. The bowl of biang mien is so good too spicy salty sour all in one. Surely we will come back again. Hope the price does not go ridiculous.

Stepping through the doors of Murger Han felt like we were stepping into a portal straight into China. We ordered the beef and pork murgers, tofu skewers, glass noodles in sesame sauce, spicy clay pot noodles (I forgot what these were called exactly) and of course the biang biang noodles. Every dish was an absolute delight, though we all preferred the noodles to the murgers. Definitely order the tofu skewers as well id never seen anything like them before, but will certainly be ordering them again when I return which will be very soon! Price was reasonable came down to under £20 per person for quite a generous feast. Highly recommend !
